The abode of all facets of excellence

Remarks :

Everything has its own good and bad side. This is an excellent place to study but the location of it makes it devoid of a city life. This doesn’t let any slack in the excellence it provides and helps you build a better character anyway.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is immense practical and real life oriented, with class tests , assignments, mid semester exams and end semester exams. Most of the exams are offline but some are online. There are lots of assignments which make you get relevant with the course matter as much as possible.

Placement Experience :

Placements are mainly from noncore companies and a little lesser from core companies. They come to the campus to conduct interviews and select the students. The career development cell CDC makes this process smooth

College Events :

The annual cultural fest- the spring fest The annual technical fest- Kshitij Spring fest is really something to enjoy with singers, actors, contestants from all over India’s coming to make you days really memorable. Kshitij helps you get a glimpse of the world of technology.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Expensive. The semester fees are around 1.4 lacs which is huge as compared to a normal government institution but you get what you pay for and it’s really worth it. You may take a loan and repay it later.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a Vijay Laxmi loan scheme for students which provides loan at a lower interest rate and there are many scholarships like LEARN EARN RETURN, Ritesh Ranjan Scholarship and many more which shall really help you.

Campus Life :

There are superb labs, sports facilities with a gymkhana which is the centre of student based activities. There are tennis courts, badminton courts and table tennis rooms. There are billiards table as well as swimming pool

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for hostel. They are really good and somewhat better than most normal dormitories. There are single rooms, double rooms and triple rooms. They are well maintained and the food served is also good

Alumni/Alumna :

There is an immense alumni network since it’s the oldest and the largest IIT. This is really helpful since they are spread all over the world and they have been the recruiters many a times. They have incubated the idea of startup’s in the campus

Admission :

I sat for JEE MAINS and which upon qualification (approx qualifying marks is 110/360) , I was eligible to sit for JEE ADVANCED, which gets you a seat in IIT for general category if your All India Rank is below approximately 10000

Faculty :

They are excellent. Just too good. They are experienced people who have previously worked in leading industry, research labs, academic institutes and some are really an asset to the nation. They are helpful as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.
