Remarks :

The college is overall good. You will have enough time beyond the study. You will have lot of extracurricular activities and you can actively participate in them. So you can grow yourself. The hostel facility is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good enough. 1st year is common in all colleges/branches of the university. In which you study about basic engineering. 2nd year onwards you will study about the textile along with 1 mandatory management subject in each semester. There are 8 semester (4year) as usual to other engineering course. In third year you have to go through industrial training (usually 6weeks). In final year you will have opportunities to get placement in various industries like as Trident, Vardhaman, Reliance, Arvind, Raymond's etc.

Placement Experience :

The campus is good in respect of placement. The placement season start generally in September of the final year. Some student get pre placement offer also from the industry they have gone through during summer industry visit.

College Events :

There are various events celebrate in college. First of all welcome party for fresher students and farewell party for final year students in month of july and may respectively. Beide this, many cultural events are also celebrated. Many sports activities are also done. The annual sport meet sphurti is occurs in feb.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is prescribed by the goverment body. In comparison to other private colleges the fees is affordable. The fees is deposited on annual basis. Some of basic tution fee is refunded for finecial weak students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The institute is govt so you will get scholarship from the goverment as prescribed. The scholarship has three section. 1. Tution fee refund 2. Hostel fee refund 3. Scholarship. The tution fee is refunded what you pay. Remaing both amount varies.

Campus Life :

Many sports activities are also done. The annual sport meet sphurti is occurs in feb. Cricket , volleyball , football , carom, tennis etc match played in various time throughout the year. These events mostly played in evening time and holidays.

Alumni/Alumna :

The institute has very strong alumni network. you may find them in dedicated website ,"OBA fact". The alumni are situated at various industries and government sectors also. The alumni are very helpful.

Admission :

Entrance exam through UPSEE, based upon rank the choices will be available. On counselling you have to choose the college and the streams. There are four streams for bachelor in technology. You can get the branch in counselling.

Faculty :

The facility is well educated specially for Textile Engineering and Textile Technology there is enough faculty. The faculty is interactive and helpful. There are labs and lab superintendent are also supportive. You will get practical knowledge along with theortical.

Remarks:

Since this college is government funded so the fee is less then other colleges. Also there is great job opportunities for final year students through campus selection. Many multi-National companies are invited for campus selection. There is also a major job opportunities through GATE.

Placement Experience:

About 75% of students get placement every year in companies like Wipro, TCS, Hummingwave, Xaro, Mahindra etc. Around 50% student gets an internship in various, industries, national and international colleges like University of Ryukyus, Japan, Air India etc. Mainly students here prepare for competitive exams like GATE CAT and GRE. That obviously affects the percentage of total on-campus data.
