Remarks :

Tkm college of engineering is the best engineering college at kollam. Usually people says that it is the best college after cet Trivandrum. It is the first built self-financed college at kerala.it looks like Mysore palace

Course Curriculum Overview :

For every semester there are 2series test and one semester exam. Totally there are 8semesters. There is a cutoff of 23 out of 50 which we have to score at series test. If we are failed to score 23/50 then we cannot attend semester exams

College Events :

The main event which we have in our college is hestia.it is like a festival to our college.there is a four day celebration.then we have freshers day.after college election there is an union inaguration.then we have a film fest under film and drama club

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since our college is self financed government college the fee is low comparitively starting of a sem we have to pay only 8225 something and the only expense we have every month is hostel fees.it will be around 3500-4500

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The main scholarship which everyone get is egrantz scholarship.everyone can apply for it.there are many other ones like MCM scholarship centralsector scholarship etc. muslim students mainly get merit cum scholarship

Campus Life :

Extra caricular activities includes sports dance club music club etc. There is a very good sports sir Maneesh who is a very good coach.there is a music club which is very well going.then our dance club is the main attraction whose troup name is ynotz

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes our seniors are very helpful.they give us proper guidance and we are able to get some knowledge about subjects.i have heard that many seniors helped juniors to get placements.i think that we have best seniors

Admission :

I used to write keam entrance exam and I got 4111rank in it and then got admission at Tkm college of engineering Kollam and I joined there. The admission process is very simple. After allotment we have to go to college and provide oru certificates and hence we can get admission process complete.

Faculty :

Every teachers at my college are well experienced and provide good coaching to us.we can clear our doubts easily.if we are unable to understand what they are teaching then we can inform our senioradvisors to change the teacher

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
