Remarks :

Positive: nice atmosphere, so much co curricular activities, friendly faculties, best principal, feasible fees, hostel etc Negatives : constantly failed to bring quality companies , always conducts placement drive from IT companies but computer science department is not there in the college

Course Curriculum Overview :

Kerala technical University. This University comes with lots of strict rules and stuffs but lacks assurance to pass out students. Aeronautical mechanical electronics electrical civil departments are available

Placement Experience :

Since the colege is 3 years old , the placement cell faces some difficulties in bringing major companies. One important fact is that this college failed to bring a company based on aeronautical engineering and the students won't get placed from the college after aeronautical completion

College Events :

Fresher's day is celebrated every year It's all fun and colors. Then the major sports day where all the last benchers wake up put up a show. Department wise matches and intra departmental matches are conducted Many departmental functions are conducted along with the major one , the EPOCH,.Just Google about the epoch fest

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If u have qualified through entrance exam then ur fees is compatively lesser Nri seats are the costliest If you have good marks in +2 level then the fee is adjusted. For backward casts, it is 30% less

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Educational loans are accepted here Canara SBI banks allow this loans Canara bank is the best way to get educational loan as far as time is concerned You need to clear all the papers to get next year loan amount Many other scholarships are also provided

Campus Life :

Talking about the labs , we have a subsonic wind tunnel in Aeronautical department And many machines for every department are available. Students can utilize this to do their final project if they want to Lab faculties are also well educated and friendly

Alumni/Alumna :

We have a nice bond between the seniors and juniors. Some of them have started working and others have already gone for post graduation Their experiences are always an advantage. They guide us when they get a job

Admission :

I joined through the management quota For that they checked my +2 marks and more than 70% mark was needed in maths physics and chemistry. Then there will be a interview with the principal who is also very encouraging and after that a brief introduction of our course is given and we can choose the better one

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
