Remarks :

At our time, placement activities were less.Currently I think, the college expanded and placement activities may have also improved. We were the second batch of the college, so that could be the reason. Now i think, the same was improved.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college offers 5 different courses.Mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, civil engineering and aeronotical engineering. The main examination happens in every 6 months. Also there are 2 series examinations other than the main exam in every semester.

Placement Experience :

The college was started on 2013.We were the 2 batch of the college. During our year, the placement activities were less. Only 1-3 companies came to students to pure mechanical field. We have to do internship. College doens't provide internships, but they give us the option to do from government approved places.

College Events :

EPOCH is the cultural and Technical event hosted by the college. This takes place every year, which includes inter college tech fest, cultural competitions and at last a pro show. The event is good and happens to be a success with help of teachers and students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since, students have to write entrance examination conducted by the government, the fee structure is feasible. They also give relaxation to studnets coming from extremely poor background and having good marks.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college offers fee reduction/scholorship for the sports winners. No fee or part fee payment was given for the sports winners. I was also given a scholarship for my sports training activities, which was a good help for me.

Campus Life :

All the teachers and seniors were good. Since we were the second batch of the new college, some procedures were not there. Even in the blooming stage also, the facilities were helpful. Not only academics, a sports faculty was also there for training students. The college widely supports sports activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

Currently had an alumini meet up, I couldn't attend, but, am eagerly waiting for the next one to meet everyone combined. Also we do have a good connection with our seniors. Seniors are friendly and at the same time very helpful

Admission :

We have to write entrance examination which is happening every year. This is a common examination for all the students. A rank list shall be developed, and based on this we can decide the colleges. If we choose this college, government fee is applicable

Faculty :

The faculties/Teachers are very talented and teaching is really good. They clear our doubts with no due. We can ask and call for help at any time. Even after the course completion also, I do have good connection with our faculties.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
