Course Curriculum Overview :

This 4 year course curriculum is heavily focused on research and mastering of basics of civil engineering such that the person after graduation will be able to apply the same in real life situations. The exams are conducted by the end of semester and there are 8 semesters in total.

Placement Experience :

The college grooms its students before they sit for the recruitment drive conducted by its placement cell. Only students with no back logs and GPA 6 are allowed to register with the placement cell and later on sit for the placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The college charges INR 73500 from first year students. The total tuition fees for this course goes upto INR 300000 for 4 years. For those who can't afford this, can opt for the scholarship provided by the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides scholarship to students whose family income is below a certain category. For that, the student needs to fill up scholarship form on the website and if eligible, he'll be contacted by the college.

Campus Life :

College gives importance towards conducting extra curricular activities such as NSS, sports events, various workshops and also an innovation club whose aim is to bring out the creative side of students.

Admission :

Students need to clear KEAM exam to be able to take admission in this course. Also, they should've opted for science stream in their higher secondary. The final selection is made based on the scores in the entrance exam.

Faculty :

Only specialized faculties teach in the college by creating a positive learning environment so that the students study this subject with great interest. The faculty always tries to impart the best available knowledge available to the students.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
