Remarks :

Still a developing campus, campus life is not very happening. But the academics are excellent and it will soon become a very popular institute since the campus is ready and the alumni roots deepen. Our Director is a very Dynamic persona. He is the ex-director of IIT Guwahati.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Course Curriculum is very good! We are following IIIT-HYDERABAD curricul, which is excellent for IT industry requirements. The curriculum is updated regularly by a Panel as per change in industrial demand.

Placement Experience :

The placements of year 2k19 were good. The average being 11 lakhs. Institute would not provide you internship directly, but the professors would guide you to find them. They would recommend you if you are a deserving candidate. Students here have done foreign internships. Some have done in corporate and some have done research internships in different IITs, in their second year.

College Events :

We celebrate Holi, Diwali, Durga Puja(it's celebrated with zest and zeal is Assam and West Bengal), Bihu and all national festivals. A special feast is prepared for dinner on these occasions. We celebrate our annual Techno-Cultural fest YUVAAN. Many technical and cultural competitions and seminars are organised in this 3-day extravaganza.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The tuition fee is INR 1 lakh per semester, hostel rent INR 12.5k per semester and a monthly mess fee INF 4K. This is quite expensive as compared to NITs. There is no fee refund for economically backward class students. There is no scholarship as well. All you can do is apply for a loan or get other scholarships if eligible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no scholarship in this institute yet. You can apply for an education loan through Vidhya-Lakshmi portal. There are many state government scholarships provided which is a great sigh of relief if you are needy. You many apply for Simon Scholarship if you have a good JEE score.

Campus Life :

There are clubs where you do all your extracurricular activities officially. Or you can organise your own groups and chill. We have cricket, football and volleyball grounds. They are not maintained and are just full of sand and dust.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, the hostel is newly built. It's affordable and very well build. It's like a 3-4 star hotel.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

This Alumni network is still spreading its roots. But some of them are excellently placed and doing really well. Yes, they are helpful and a good source of guidance and inspiration for us.

Admission :

I cracked JEE Mains with 17k All India General Rank and got admission into this Institute through JOSAA counselling. The councelling is of 7 rounds, in which students are alloted seat in different Institutes on the basis of their rank and category.

Faculty :

All the faculties are highly knowledgeable PhD graduates (100%). Though some of them are not soo good at teaching, but they would give good guidance in your projects and research work. We have a bunch of gems, and we are lucky to be under their guidance.

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. A lot of reputed companies like Samsung, AWS, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, L&T, Cisco, Mahindra, ONGC visit for recruitment. Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Life At IIT Guwahati

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. One can also go for higher studies, there is no harm.

MY GREENISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in computer skills like gaming, web development, coding, etc that's why I choose this course. In my college, every facility is provided like labs, sports ground and kits, medical facility, hostels and mess and, well educated and skilled faculty. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:50. Faculties are well experienced (Ph.D. holders) and have good teaching skills. But, I want to mention one thing that, you can't totally depend on the faculty, you need to pay extra effort by itself. B.Tech is of 4 years course that is divided into 8 semesters. Every semester 2 main exams are conducted. Exams are not much easy but also not too hard. You need to focus on academic too for decent pointers. If you are a sincere student then getting a good pointer is not hard.
