So I applied for IMT, MDI, IIFT, XIMB, NMIMS, IMI and BITSOM. I wasn't able to convert IIFT and NMIMS because of my percentile (95.1) and NMAT score. For MDI my GDPI went well but I believe my Acads related knowledge was less. So from XIMB, IMI and IMT I chose IMT because its a great college for marketing and also its near to my house. My sister passed out from this college in 2014 and she is doing well in her life which motivated me more to get into this college. My college admission process was firstly getting the required percentile for shortlisting, then an essay writing and PI was done on the date selected. I applied to ISB, XIMB, SPIMR, and IMT, but I got an admission call only from IMT. I chose to apply to IMT because of its strong alumni network. I believe I got rejected from the other colleges because of my academic performance during undergrad. So, one can either write CAT, GMAT, or XAT to be able to apply to IMT. Most of the students take the CAT or XAT. The cutoff percentile For CAT and XAT floats around 90-95%. I got into IMT through GMAT. After I applied, I got a call from the college for a personal interview which was held in Bangalore. I scored 94.36 percentile in CAT and I got a shortlist from IMT Ghaziabad. During my time the admission process was online and we had a WAT (Written test) in which a topic was given to us and we had to write in about 400-500 words in 30 mins. After that we had our Personal Interviews in which your general knowledge and the knowledge of your background is tested. But from this year onwards the process is offline and on your arrival in the College for the process, firstly you have WAT then Group discussion and then Personal Interview which is not that easy to crack.
