Course Curriculum Overview
The course is according to the curriculum and it is totally relevant that made me choose this course. The curriculum helps us understand the basic concepts in depth that helps us in real world applications and further academic pursuits. The teaching method is not much advanced, also the teachers does not focus on deep learning or teaching in depth. The timing or exams are perfect, each in an interval of 1-2 months.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Bajaj visited this year and made a total of 12 offers of 12LPA, Also Syvora visited and make total 8 offers of 5.10 LPA. The highest placement for this year is 12 LPA and the average placement is approx 4-5 LPA. Mainly 20-30% students get placed rest all students are left without any placement. My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for government exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for BTech CSE is around 120000 for the 2022 batch and it keeps on increasing every year. Scholarship benefits are also there for the the reserved categories i.e. 80000 for Sc/St and 30000 for obc. Please note that this information is according to the 2022 batch.
Campus Life
The annual function is ARDOR that happens every year in the month of February, the library facility is very good and have access to all the books, the only major facility in the classroom is projector, other than that only board and pen method is used for teaching. Sports and extracurricular activities are really less in acropolis, only the sports takes place during ARDOR and in the month of November when intercollege tournament takes place. There are several clubs in the college that helps in social interactions.
Admission
I applied in several other colleges namely IIST, Sushila Devi bansal college, Swami Vivekanand college, Shivajirao Kadam college, Vikrant institute. I got a confirmed admission in the above mentioned colleges but the reason for which i choose Acropolis is due to their placements. I got accepted in almost every college i applied to, but the main reason for my rejection could be my JEE score. The admission process in AITR is mainly done online through DTE counselling, eligibility for students to take admission is that they have to give JEE, it is mandatory for taking admission other than that management quota exists for those students without jee exam, the only condition is that they have to give extra money in the fee. The admission process is quite hectic but they college staff helps in the admission process.
Faculty
The relationship between the faculty and student is not very good, the faculties of the CSE department try their best to reduce the marks of the students if they do not like the specific student. I can't name the faculties due to some personal reasons but there are only 1 or 2 good faculties that co-operate and support the students, rest all the teachers are really bad behavioured. During the semester only two mid semester test takes place and the final exam is conducted by RGPV. These exams are moderate and are totally according to the curriculum.
Night Life
There is no night life in Acropolis, All the students have to leave after 5PM otherwise no students is permitted to stay in the campus for night, if no hackathon is taking place in the campus. There is no gym, but the canteen provides moderate quality food, canteen and library both closes at 5pm. There is no hostel. There is no hangout place inside or outside the college, also no student is allowed to be present in the college at night.
