What Students Say

Likes

All the current flaws that our education system has they all ends at RRU.
For technical education we have the best technical infrastructure possible.
Our foundation was laid by making us learn C language in the first semester itself.

Dislikes

College location is so remote that it takes almost an hour to reach main hotspots of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most university don't teach the things that we learned in the first semester itself and therefore I would rate our course to be the best. I am already excited about my this year as hacking and tech events will have our participation too.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 84612 per year

Placement Experience

Course started just a few years back and therefore the substrata for the placement is low. However cybersecurity is in demand and building such software contracts are inked daily. So future is bright of Indian tech companies and students who are pursuing it.

Fees and Financial Aid

RRU Academic fees is 84,612 per semester to be exact and besides that per semester 24000 is hostel fees. Mess fees is also 30000 per semester. Total of all this comes to close to 2.75 lakhs a year to study at RRU.

Campus Life

Rang Ratri which is Navratri festival and then our college also organised open stage and everybody was allowed to take part in that. We also have a main fest called Navya. Our campus is huge and hostels too are divided into two clusters. For new comers and one for students who finish their two years at the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The cluster in which I live has hostel blocks from I to N means 6 blocks. All are two seater hostels and are for new comers. 24000 is per sem fees for hostel and for mess we have to pay 30k seperately per semester and we get 4 meals daily in that.

Hostel Fee: INR 108000 per year

Admission

JEE Mains which is how admission happens in almost every top Engineering college in India is how one gets admission here. IITs like the top ones where indeed my first choice but after analysing and looking at the prospect that Cybersecurity has, I made it a point that i will take admission here only.

Faculty

Faculties are mostly new comers as this is a new age engineering and faculties that we have around are mostly young. If mentioned about their teaching it is certainly next level and talking about my terms with them, this too is superb.

Night Life

Hostel timings are 7.30 pm and therefore it becomes quite difficult as our college is 20 kms from main city of Gandhinagar. Nearest Good cafes are also atleast 45 mins away and therefore we spend maximum time at campus only.

There are in campus placements offered by the college. Many top and multinational companies visit our college for the campus placements. From 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. The highest placement is above 50LPA and the average placement is 14LPA. The percentage of students getting placements is very high. Top companies like Google, Nvidia, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Infosys etc. visits our college for the campus placements.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester students are eligible for placement. Infosys, tcs, micron, etc visited our college. Infosys offered 10 lpa, tcs offered 7lpa, micron offered 12 lpa. Highest package is 15 lpa, while the avg package is 10 lpa. 80% students are getting placed. I want to pursue M.tech

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

LJ University - They help you make a career but you have to make your life fun yourself.

Placement Experience:

The placements are outstanding although i did not opt for one as i have to prepare for my gvt exams my friends have all gotten internships and most likely be employeed to same companies after internship period. Mostly all who want to get a internship have one before the end of 3rd year which means they can get 2 years of prior experiences as compared to other institutions.

Excellent placement in our college. In 6 semesters students are available for campus placement. 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement . YAZAKI INDIA in Ahmedabad we go for a campus . 1 lack package for a year . Highest package is 2 lack and avrege package is 1 lakh . There is 70% students are selected for the placement . I have to do a 9-5 job for 2 years . And then start a own business .

RRU University is best in class!!

Cut-offs are into three dimensions. Firstly, 12th marks, then entrance score and finally the physical test score. So, all three scores are taken into account and after that an interview and then the final admissions. RRU is best for Law!!

I gave CLAT and was eligible for NLU Jodhpur and had confirmed admission as well. However, my admissions were confirmed here later but once they were confirmed I knew where to take final admissions. RRU has its own merit test and also a mental and physical test too, to be eligible fit enough to get final admissions here....Read More

As I said before, no other university in India offers this course so this college was an automatica choice for me. Admissions are based on entrance and physical attributes. RRU is truly a remarkable university!!

RRU are only two in India and the one in which i am studying is better in both. Also, admissions here are on factors such as score and then a fitness entrance test.
