Course Curriculum Overview
My experience with the course curriculum at GNIOT has been overall positive and has played a significant role in shaping my technical, personal and professional growth. One of the main reasons I choose GNIOT was its strong focus on technical education and its reputation for solid placements in core technical and IT companies. In my course ( btech CSE ) the subjects such as data structures, database management systems, operating systems, and computer networks were crucial factors that influenced my decision.

Admission
When I completed my 12th class, I wanted to do btech in Computer Science or IT because I was always interested in coding and technology. Like many students, I started searching for good engineering colleges in UP and nearby states. I checked colleges mainly based on placements, fees, faculty, campus life and overall environment. The colleges I applied to are - galgotias college of engineering and technology JSS academy of technical education, Noida KIET group of institutions ABES Engineering College I got admission offers from all the colleges; I was eligible for counselling but could not get computer science or IT because my rank was not enough. I finally chose GNIOT because it matched most of the things I wanted in a college. The admission process at GNIOT is simple and student-friendly. Admissions are mostly done through: UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test) Direct admission based on 12th marks or JEE Main score. Students need to have at least 45% in 12th with physics and maths as compulsory subjects.
Faculty
My experience with the faculty at GNIOT has been overall positive here are several faculty members who stand out due to their excellent teaching skills and dedication. like every institution, there are a few faculty members who focus strictly on theory and read directly from slides or books without adding much value. Examinations at GNIOT are conducted as per AKTU guidelines . there are two sessional exams each semester, which contribute to internal marks. These exams test both theoritical understanding and problem solving ability . Attendance , assignments , lab work , and presentations also play a role in internal assessment.
Night Life
Inside the campus there is not much nightlife in the strict sense because the college follows proper discipline and safety rules. Hostel gates usually close by 9:00 por 9:30 pm for boys and a bit early for girls around 8:30 pm. students enjoy spending time together in hostel common rooms, playing indoor games like table tennis and carrom or watching movies or series on laptops. Outside the campus there are many good hangout places nearby. Popular places include Omaxe Connaught place , Ansal Plaza, and MSX Mall Many students also like to go to local food joints and tea stalls near Pari Chawk, which is around 10-15 min away from the college,
