I think our college darrang college needs improvement in fees areas including the sports
The academic building are one of the few things i like
The overall environment is pretty good

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to learn about the AI and computer science so I decided to choose to graduate in bachelor in computer science.its really nich in this course.need improvement in practical teaching.there are two exam one is sessional exam and the final exam.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college darrang college of tezpur Assam have many departments that are government paid and many are institutional private.my course bachelors of computer applications is a private self financed course for which students have to pay addmission fees per semister together with it students also have to pay the registration fees and the exam form fill up fees .I have to pay 20000 per year excluding registration fees and exam form fill up fees.

Campus Life

In our college the annual and technical festivals are the annual collage sports week and some functions. They are held during the starting of the years in between January to March .we have library that have many books.

Admission

I choose darrang college because it has a rich past of good education and one of the top most collage in assam. I applied for tezpur collage and I got confirmation addmission but once I got admission in darrang college i rejected tezpur collage The addmission process is based on the marks you obtain in higher secondary school exam

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio has very big difference.i think the students in our collage are much more in numbers than the faculty members.I like is the guards they are very good.The technical staff i don't like. There are 2 exam per semister.

Night Life

Yeah the night life is we go play sports like football volleyball cricket or other indoor sports after that there are many cafe where we chill and eat snacks . Our campus opens early in the morning to 6 pm in the evening. There are many can't be named

Placement Experience:

For campus placement the students should be in final semester or should be graduated.. Automobile companies visit for the placement and it is limited. The package they offer is like 5-6 LPA . 5% of the total students are getting the placements. My plan is to prepare for competitive exams after getting the degree .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to learn coding and pursue my dream as a web development. Our department prepare us well for real-world applications by making us doing project and assignments that are related to real world applications for our further future. We are learning how to do static and dynamic projects. They should change some of their teaching method as for labs (partical) and give more explanation on that as some teachers are not that good in explaining a practical part . Theory exams are easy but practical parts is a little difficult sometimes due to the lack of understanding the subject but some are easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in taking computer Application, the university have also provide with many opportunity to enhance our knowing which also made me to dive deep inside the realm of computer world. The curriculum provided are very helpful for me and i believe I will be able to solve anything in my coming future. The teacher are well educated and friendly we could understand what ever they taught us, they also make us understand what they taught us in any possible way. There is nothing to improve about the faculty but the university can improve the class room by providing new chairs and upgrade a little. The timing for exam and class doesn't effect my routine it is well set according and exam timing different fir each department which is very efficient and not crowded. They provide about two faculty in each exam hall during exam.

I applied to various colleges but I confirmed Darrang College because this college is near to my home as compared to others . I didn't got rejection from other colleges. I didn't make it there because the course I wanted to study was not there . The admission process is merit based . Improvement in Sports activities needed

I applied for EFLU (Shillong Campus), Central University of Karnataka, Tezpur University, Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University and some of their affiliated colleges like Darrang College, DHSK College and many more. I did get pass through the merit lists of Karnataka, Darrang and DHSK. I had to choose Darrang because the last date for admission in DHSK, I was unable to go there due to personal reasons & I forgot about the Karnataka application form. I chose this college among others cause this college is in middle assam which is more safe than other parts and also have a great environment in the campus and also the college is good , and the people in it .
