I chose this college just for the sake of getting exposure from different state from my home state. Also, my state don't have many good colleges for B.Tech but the positioning and advertisement of chandigarh university was well maintained and managed to attract me to its campus as the no. of placement offers and average package was good. I applied for vellore institute of technology, IIT ,NIT and Thapar institute. Out of which, I got NIT and VIT but lack of knowledge and guidance made me miss out joining oppurtunity and in the end I got chandigarh university. The admission process in CU was easy as I gave them my jee score and cucet exam and managed 40% scholorship which made me take admission here....Read More

I applied to few private engineering and government colleges but i have choosen chandigarh university because of its academic curriculum and excellent placements for computer science students. apart from that they also provide various additional benefits like scholarship based on your academic performance in class 12th i.e merit based or also on the basis of CUCET test that they conduct when you applied to their any course for admission....Read More

There are few colleges I have applied for including Amity University, SRM University etc. I got confirmation too. But I was unable afford those colleges. Chandigarh University has scholarships, so the fees was lower than other colleges . It is in the list of NIRF ranking, NAAC accreditation, QS world ranking. These are the few reasons I choosed this college over the others. Despite preparing for JEE and BITSAT, I was unable to get good score. So I was unable to apply for IITs , NITs and BITS. The reason for this is my time management. The admission process for Chandigarh University is smooth and easy. The exams like JEE , state entrance exams (KCET, KEAT etc) are accepted in this college. There is college entrance exam which is CUCET. This is preferred by most of the students as we get scholarship based on this score....Read More
