Likes

I like my college campus so much . This is the only thing I like.
I also like my hostel 2nd or 3rd floor which has good environment
The sports complex of hostel is also good .

Dislikes

The gym of the college has no apparatus.
Classrooms are not well sopesticated and designed.
Some things of hostel is not good and not good.

The university of the college is makaut .and believe me this is very bad university,, if you are writing your exams well , you got a confirm backlog and those who licks up the faculties they got more and more numbers.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was 531000 amount of rupees I have to paid in my total 4 year of degree ,in each semester we have to pay 60 to 62 thousand rupees in college for devolopment fee and course fee also . So this is what we have to pay

Campus Life

There are many types of technology fest ,hacking fest ,one annual fest named Blitz and much more events as seminar training workshop etc but it has a really bad impact on daily life of college classes that them are suspended

Admission

I applied Heritage college of engineering and technology.and iem college and many more government college ,but maturity is when when you gotta know it was a scam of all colleges and and except iits no colleges are good .

Faculty

Faculties are not so open to students some faculties are really good and care about students but some of them are so embarrassing and harrassing student I didn't take his name but he is so annoying and bad

Night Life

There are 2 librery in our college libreries are decent but in their books are so bad and old editions ,gym has no equipments like trademill or cycling,cafeteria is now modified and many more things are selled there.

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements

TAKE A LOOK TO GCECT

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.

The placement of the college is average. During my time Cognizant and Infosys use to visit the campus and they hired many students. The ctc offered by the company was around Rs 3.5 lakhs per annum. Those who are unplaced need to apply off campus to other companies.

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur.
