What Students Say

Likes

There are clubs in the sastra which is good to interact with more girls and get to know with more people
The ratio is 1:1 and we can get to talk within the labs with girls which is very enthusiastic
They provide indoor game courts like shuttle and its good to get to used to it

Dislikes

There are no fest in the college and its very bad to live in college without fests
75 percent faculty are good and rest are the worst faculty u ever has in ur life
There are about 25 periods for each week which is very burden for a student to attend that many classes

There are no fests in the sastra deemed University which is worst to not having fest in the college The curriculum and the infrastructure in the college is good and the equipment to learn new things are good .

Fees and Financial Aid

Sastra is good at getting placements in our fourth year . The yearly I get to paid about 80k for tution fee for each sem and hostel fee is about 20 to 30k and mess fee is about 3500 to 5000 per month . They yearly is about 2 lakhs . The mess is very worst . The admission fee and lab fee are getting to paid in the tution fee

Campus Life

The overall experience in sastra is quite well and it is good to experience your btech life in other state with min fees of 10 lakhs . The spots and extracurricular activities offered on campus are good enough for the students The student-run social groups, clubs, or student portals, including their impact on student life is quite well enough

Admission

There are other colleges like vishnu and vit ap in which i got seat and I prefer sastra is due to we can visit the other state and learn a new language and we can experience the life style in other state that's the reason that I prefer the sastra deemed University

Faculty

There are three cias which was conducted by sastra which is moderate to pass and in the sem it's difficult to pass if we don't have enough internals . The faculty and student relations are good in this college .

Night Life

The night life in sastra is well enough to live for a middle class persons son or a daughter the hostel closes at night 9.30 and we need to give a roll call at that time after that we do whatever we want .

DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.

College management was not as I expected. Usually a college should have all the basic facilities which my college missed out. But even thouh thats what a college life is all about. I din have much facilities in my college but I have a whole lot of stories to tell.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education. No, i did not get rejected for the colleges i applied for. Admission process start with first registration in sastra offical website then they will send email for the selected students for counselling where you have to pay the sem fees (45000) and the admission fees(10000) through demand draft or online banking. I applied for various law schools such as vit, soel etc. I also got offer letter from these colleges. But I felt sastra to be much more better than the other colleges and hence joined here.
