Student's Snapshots

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I took CSE and is designed as per other colleges standard. Teachers takes classes and also shared notes and important questions which is a good part. Marking is also generally good for all the subjects. An area of improvement can be reducing the frequency of exams.

Placement Experience

4

Placement season starts from 6th sem end and 7th sem start. 70-80 companies visit the campus with packages ranging from 4 LPA to 40 LPA. Placement ratio is good for CSE, ISE and ECE (90-95%). If the students plan for higher studies, the college do provide some basic assistance but, not very much. For placements, college also provide trainings but are charged extra 5-6k one time which is compulsory.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees is 240000 per year, for including tuition, lab etc fees. Exam fees is 1000-2000 per year. For CET students, fees is 90k per year and exam fees stays as is. For management students, fees is 400000 per year and other fees stays as is. Any kind of external scholarships can be taken but, college do not provide any scholarships. All the fees is same for each branch.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is good all in all. There are 2 fests in total. One is the big one which is technical + cultural. Clubs and societies are pretty good and you can get into social, business, drama, techinal, singing, dancing etc in any club. There is some NGOs also in which we can participate and volunteer. NCC and NSS is also there in campus. Sports clubs and college team is also there and you can get into that.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilty can be availed at 70k yearly + 30k mess rent. 2/3 sharing rooms will be given and seperate hostel for 1st year students. Registration can be done offline in college and fees can be paid there only. Mess provides food 4 times daily. 3 meals + 1 snacks and non veg on each Sunday and egg on each wednesday. Paneer on the both days for vegetarian students. Good number of PGs are there in 3-5 KMs of radius if, not opting for hostel.

Admission

I chose this college over others because this is autonomous college. The admission process was giving an exam and attending the counselling from the exam rank. Branch and college will be alloted as per the ranks. Admission process is smooth and clear communication is provided at each step. Different counselling rounds are conducted to filter down your choices and explore more opportunities.

Faculty

4

There are 3 mid sem exams and 1 final exam per subject per sem. All the exams are compulsory (3+1). Exam level is easy to medium and you can learn all the topics teacher taught or gave as question bank. Student to faculty ratio is good. The course curriculum is also good as per other colleges standard and exams are prepared from this only. 10% students avg failed approx. They can pass the exams after each YEAR completion.

Night Life

3

There are 3 gyms in the college. 1+1 for boys and girls and one for sports and college team. Library is available for everyone till night 8 PM and you can study there and also issue books. There are different food spots and cafeterias and you can get good snacks and meals as well. Hostel students can avail mess facility and mess food is also quite good.
