The oldest and one of the best Commerce College of Northeast.

The course is good according to me, it contains various subjects which I suppose makes the base for higher studies. If one adds internships and all , the student becomes very much capable of being employed.

Approx Rs 5000 for odd semester admission. And renewal admission for even semesters around Rs 2000. Exam form fill up money around Rs 1800. Free admission is available for students with yearly income of less than 2 lakh.

Events take place not very much but in a medium frequency. The library consists of a wide range of books from CAT books to Assamese literature to other competitive exam books to course related books. Sports are held mainly during college week, and inter college tournaments are held .

I had applied for Bcom in only this college. Since I studied my 12th also from this college only and secured one of the ranks in top 10 of 12 th results in the College. Therefore I was pretty sure I would get a seat here, and so didn't applied anywhere else. I choosed this college because I wanted to study in Assam itself and this college is the oldest and good commerce College in ou r Northeast.

Faculty to student ratio is very optimum. The faculties are very much approachable, they are always there to help the students. Most of them are humble and friendly. I like majority of the faculties. Many concepts which are so hard have been taught by them in the simplest of the way. There too exists some bad teachers also , but mainly I feel they aren't much goodin english so that why they are not much good while explaining the things. A sessional exam is held before the semester exams. The exam consists of good quality questions.

There are various good eateries outside college. Ranging from simple restaurant to high quality nd caffe's . I am not much aware of night life in college. Never stayed till so late. But yes the area is quite safe, bus stop is just 2 minutes walk.
