Campus Life and placement is very good. I get the opportunity to make good friend.i get the opportunity to enroll in various clubs like nss,Ieee,voyagers that help in my personality development and upskilling as much I can.

Dislikes

The campus is small as compared to nis and iits .the study of first year is on the old curriculum that is boring and sometimes of no use .Thats was the thing I don't like about the pec

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very old. Faculty was teaching us the old stuff that's does not relate with the ongoing curriculum or technology used around us. And sometimes there are also the courses which are not used for the engineering field for example there is a subject ed which was not essential for the electronics or CSE students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Pec is very good college. Even fee is not justified as tag of government funded technical institutes(gftis) .Although pec having desent placement in last few years.i am having getting a opportunity to enroll electronics course in this college.placement of top branch far better than few nits and iits.????

Campus Life

There is a great technical fest organised in our college that is pec fest and there is also many events organised in our college like hackathon taken by the club. The big event called Esummit which was on the theme of entrepreneurship was also organise in which the big alumini startup founders are invited.

Admission

I am getting the NITs and even iits but I preferred the branch over the colleges and I think this was the decent college so I choose this college over the other colleges which I getting . And even the placement of this colleges for better than others also

Faculty

Faculty member are well qualified from good college such as iit, nits ,lund university,etc and study us very efficiently.Exam of any course is taken in the form of quiz ,mid term assessmentand end term assessment including practical performed as per the course subject .At last marking is done as the relative cgpa system in first yr and there is absolute marking form 2nd yr onwards

Night Life

There is a gym cafeteria library and also the parking area around me which was well maintained also there are security guard that keeps them secure. Well security system at the entrances. They are many hospitals namely Shivalik, Aravali ,kurukshetra ,Himalaya of boys and Kalpana Chawla of girls. Our hostel having the good mess which was certified by the fssai.

Great exposure, Learning and Placements at CU- A well rounded experience

Placement Experience:

I am a recent graduate in computer science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i took admission in CU just because of their excellent placements for the computer science students and what i feel is during my journey they provide i'll not say 100% placements that they guys claimed but yes the placement is really good. the average package is of 7-8 lpa and they offered placements globally like in hyderabad, pune, banglore, noida that are considered as best places to work in IT sector. but in my last year i.e 4th year i have been offered a position of software engineer intern in gurugram and that was off campus so i grabbed that opportunity. and there is one policy of chandigarh university if you opt for off campus placement then you get debarred from the TPP campus placements of chandigarh university and you will not be able to sit in the campus placements of chandigarh university. rest overall the campus placement is good.

The Life in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

The placement is the one of the strongest region in this college. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. From 4th semester,there is placement training program which makes students get ready for interviews, tests in placements. There are prominent companies who visited our college like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered by a company is Rs. 54LPA and average placement is Rs.8LPA. 90% of eligible students gets placements. My plans after degree is to study MBA and get into entrepreneurship and business.

form 3rd year college placements get started but student can do side internship by themself in 1st and 2nd year offcampus type , there is no restriction from our college . in 2023 atlasian give highest package of 83 lpa . various companies like microsoft , jp morgan , american express come to PEC for hiring .

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, we are eligible for placements. many multinational companies visited for placement such as Amazon, Google, Wipro and many more. The highest package is 36 lack per anum. Around 600 companies offer placement on campus every year.

A TRUSTED COLLEGE FOR A SAFE FUTURE

Placement Experience:

The campus offers good placement in amazon and other high digital online platforms. The placement completely depends on the rank of the students. Many companies such as Amazon and Birla group have visited the college. They also offer good jobs abroad with attractive salaries. Mostly in a year almost 30% of students are placed in job by the college itself. Rest 50% will surely get jobs in good companies if they have good academic statistics. After getting the degree, I would like to get job in foreign country like America and would like to settle there as the college also offers job in abroad.

I was ready to choose btech course (civil engineering ).collage faculty was more than i expected. Collage was more friendly. As in the case of students was very good at college. And also our teachers are more friendly in studies and helping the students in studies.During the examination our teachers works well. And they are able to make the students to score good marks. Collage conduct exams as 4 sections in a year.
