What Students Say
Likes
- Faculty is Experienced and helps you throughout the curriculum.
- Mentorship Quality is good as the class is small and teachers are well focused on every student.
- Course Curriculum is up to the mark is continuously updating.
Dislikes
- Campus Amenities and Infrastructure are not that great. The campus is really small.
- Placement service are not good either. If you believe in yourself and think you'll be able to secure a placement on your own then it's a good place to be. But if not, then don't rely on them.
- There's a lack of extra activities and events which makes day to day life a little boring. But if you're not looking for such events and all, then it's a good place to be in.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teaching method includes both - practical and theory which makes if good to go and industry relevant curriculum. Frequency and timing of exams is good, you get enough time in semester to study and prepare well for the exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Overall it cost me around 1.6 laks and it was quite similar to my batchmates. I didn't recieved any scholarships of financial assistance. Yes the fee is increasing every academic year which is quite onvious.
Campus Life
This is a lacking part and aspect of this college. as you'll be stalking your friends posting stories about events and clubs and here it is little to no. If that won't affect you then please go ahead with it. campus is small and the aesthetics are not that great.
Admission
This was in my state and I wanted to be in nature's lap for a while. Also I wanted to study this ZBC specialization , in the seconf college that I applied to, it was not there. so I eventually took admission there.
Faculty
Exams are conducted every semester with a 30% weightage of Internal assignments and 70% weightage of end semester written examination. Marking is done in % and not grading system. Level of examination is onviously not easy as it's about getting a degree, you will have to study to pass the exams else be ready for backlogs. I passed all the exams in one go but I've seen my batchmates appearing for backlogs.
Interview Experience
Yes I had an interview and it was normal interview with not so difficult questions, also my boards score was considered for the admission process. So overall it's merit based admission followed up with some interview or written examination if needed. You can get admitted directly without appearing for Cuet.
Night Life
Nightlife is not that great, we used to sit at nearby tapri's for chai sessions and some hangout. It's not safe to roam around in night, so if you do it oftenly then this is not the right place for you to be in. In weekends you can plan a trip to Mussoorie, Nainital, Dehradun, Auli, Lansdowne, Dhanaulti and all, as these are nearby tourist attraction.
