I have given jee main and jee advanced both and got decent rank in jee mains but in advance I got low rank even I have both options to get iit and nit . I am getting new iit lower branch so I choice nit . I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate. I applied for others colleges that accepted admission through the state entrance cell. I was getting admission there on my previous exam basis and also MHT CET exam result. I chose VNIT as it was near my home and also it was more premier institute than the colleges of MHT CET I was not rejected from the other colleges that o applied for only my rank was not sufficient to get admission in their courses. The admission process for VNIT is that they accept students on the basis of JEE MAINS examination for students that wish to pursue bTech and then there is a separate exam of architecture for students who wish to pursue BArch which is a five year integrated program offered by the college....Read More

The Vnit has very strong alumni network amazing placement facility and internship its situated in nagpur and its closest to my home town compared to other nits The addmision process is not so complicated furst get a good percentile in jee , 75 % in 12th board and then apply for counselling through which you have to go through online document verification then pay pre addmision fee and for last physical verification and hostel allotment this process takes some time but its first thing you will experiencing in college...Read More
