- I wonder why Indians go abroad for studies as in our university there are students from almost 30-35 countries.
- Campus is like another city and has almost 50-60 blocks.
- Nearly 20+ cafes and every damn food that you know is available at the campus itself.
Dislikes
- Hostels I wish had more proper planning and management as it lacks a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
Dental Surgeon is a specialist course and the kind of attention people have started giving to oral care, the demand for doctors are high. So in our studies new technologies and new advancements are important and our course keeps up with that perfectly so I can't bet but there can't a better college offering BDS better than us.
Placement Experience
Doctors are eligible int he fifth year as many private hospitals and private clinics are the ones who needs freshers regularly. The opportunity that is brings is just a couple of years of practice under someone and then you can officially open your clinic as well and that's my plan.
Fees and Financial Aid
KIIT is one of the best and at the same time one of the costliest university too. The kind of infrastructure and everything that it has it will charge more and yes for BDS i am paying 650000 a year which can be called high but in private universities it's a normal fees.
Campus Life
A campus which should be termed a town of not city. All the kids are from high well to do families as the fees is such that everyone can't afford. Now they have changed hefty but on the other hand they have provided facilities like no private college can imagine.
Hostel Facilities
Our room has attach washrooms, geezers and plus a common refrigerator is also there. My room I share it with one more students as single rooms are not provided and that should be done. As I have seen people changing rooms mid semester. Food is also average to be honest and therefore college cafes are the ones that we have most of the meals at.
Admission
Admissions in KIIT are through its own entrance which is followed by a small little interview. Also, the fees is also a concern so if the seats are left they are awarded through management quota. So admission are online and final call through email are sent.
Faculty
Well, for BDS just two sections so for 100 odd students there are 12 faculties. Amisha Gupta who is our main teacher is perhaps my favourite. Other doctors are also good but the kind of knowledge and practicality that she brings nobody else can imagine even.
Night Life
Our college itself has so many things and plus we are not allowed to roam at night but we have the option of roaming in the campus for as long as we want and cafes and every facilities here at campus is openene till late night.
