Remarks :
There are so many things which can be taken into either positive or negative however i miss my college and college life. We learnt a lot from our surroundings and that life. It gives us pleasure and happiness whenever i think of my college life. We always complaint of the situation we are in and with passage of time we regret and cherished the moments.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Its good. our system in Jammu is not semester wise. our exams were held once annually at the time when i passed out. Not Known what is the system these days. Then there were internals quarterly and based on your attendance and those internal score and external marks you were being promoted to next year.
Internships Opportunities :
no there was no such facility available in our college. Jammu is a very samll town and there is no such concept at the time when i graduated. Moreover our course is designed a such a way that there was no need of any internship program
Placement Experience :
After graduating i nvever tried for a job because i wanted to do masters degree. After completing my MBA , I moved to Hyderabad and started job there only. There were placements however not after my graduation.
College Events :
Freshers party, annual day, international women day, new year, different festivals, cultural programs, different activities related to college and state wise level, sports events, tournaments, farewells, etc
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It was very feasible. Didn't remember the exact amount i paid for my 3 years bachelor degree however it was a government college so there were no hidden charges or any extra cost incurred on my degree course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I never availed any scholarship or loan because the college fee is very affordable. They never charged anything unnecessarily. The degree was very cost effective and it was pleasure being in government institute which such facilities.
Campus Life :
I was a commerce student, so never used any lab for the same however library was used by me which was very good. There were hundred and hundreds of books which were not only useful however effective as well.
Hostel Facilities :
I was a localite so never used hostel facility. I reside at my home only with my family. Neither do i have any friend who reside in hostel so that i can check about hostel facilities so i had no idea about the same.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes seniors were very helpful and cordial, they helped a lot in clearing our doubts if any. Also being freshers they never had our ragging sort of thing. We all used to have a big group wherein we eat play and study together.
Exam Structure :
Our examinations were held once in a year. There were internal conducted quarterly and based on your internals and externals exam over results were evaluated. There were certain facts also like your attendance and behaviour in classroom.
Admission :
Its based on Merit list. Cut out list goes out and then your name appears as per the marks you scored in 12th standard. As per the merit your name appears on different list depending upon the seat availability in that particular cousre
Faculty :
They are good. Helping and very cordial. They helped a lot in studies despite of the fact its a govt college full support was provided by the faculty. They never hesitate in helping anytime. They have given extra classes as well as and when required to explain the things if they are not understood in one go.
