Course Curriculum Overview
I was very fascinated about food and knowing how a food can help to cure or help to overcome from disease or any health related issues.. It gave me idea about how this knowledge can help me to help people in real life by guiding them about food and its consumption. More practical classes should be given to get proper knowledge and internship should be provided for atleast for a month in a year. Generally exams are conducted after every six months and they conducted timely without further delay. The mid-semesters exam level are easy to moderate and semester exams level are moderate to hard.
Internships Opportunities
We can apply for any hospital for internship under this course. The time period for internship under this course is three months minimum and maximum six months. Generally no stipened is paid butnonlybfew hospital pay stipend ranges from 5000- 10000 rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total it is a 3 year course which means it has six semesters.... You have to pay 12000 rupees yearly excluding examination fees... Examination fees was paid around 1000 rupees per semester... It means for 3 years you have to pay 36000 rupees for this course.. The fees of the course increases yearly... You can apply for scholarship under the scheme of e-kalyan by Jharkhand Government.. Under this scholarship students must have to be resident of Jharkhand and should belong from the category of ST, SC and OBC, these Students can only apply for it..
Campus Life
Annual feast haapens in the month of March. There are limited range of books and Journal in the library and a single Journal or book are issued.. They even don't provide the facility to read the books inside the library. Less technologies were used no modern teaching aids were used... The college provides various sports participation and NCC is also there. Very few students or alumni run social groups to help the students to know about various opportunity related to jobs...
Admission
Firstly I applied for Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. But I was unable clear the cut off that College. Then I directly applied for this college the Eligibility criteria was 12th passed with Biology. After the cut off released then I took the the admission.
Faculty
The ratio of teacher and students are 3:10. Relations among students and teachers are quite good... faculties help the students if any inconvenience occurs. There are total 6 semesters and 6 mid- semesters Mid - semesters is of 25 marks and end semester is of 75 marks.. The exam level is from moderate to tough.. Maximum students are capable of clearing the exam..
Night Life
After college there are nearby few places were students can hangout. There are cafes , restaurants which are affordable. College doesn’t provide hostel for all students it just provide hostel for very low income students with minimum fees. Swami Vivekanada lake/ park is also a good place to hangout.. And all these places are safe to hangout at night also and regular patrolling is done by the police so no need worry about night hangout.
