I choose this cource because I love to draw and have intrests in building, sculpting, monuments, etc. In architecture everyone is creative on their own place so you can lear from them various things. The only disadvantaged is this cource is of 5 year long.

Internship opportunities are easy to find in the field of architecture, professor also help students to get in an intership. It is compulsory for a students to do internship. You can work in various tasks like interior designer, landscape designer etc.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement in the 9th semester. There are some international companies and some local companies who come to give placement. The average package is 12lac per annum. In architecture very few students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee for General category students are 1.25 lac per annum, for SC, ST, PWD student pay zero tution fees because of the government provided scholarship , thats an advantage of getting into government college for category students

I'm a maharashtrian guy so my first priority is VNIT i am so glad i got a place here , i don't choosen any other options. Students needed to crack jee paper 2a to get into architecture and score minimum of 90 percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Overall, I liked the course and learned a lot about architecture.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
