Remarks :

I don't know that much about my college as I'm a newly admitted student in this college.As per my seniors, college is good. And I also have observed that the college average. Last year placements was also average.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I think it's OK and I'm satisfied with it. We have to attend around six classes in a day. Practical work is also being taught in the college which is necessary for B.tech course and assignments are also to be completed in the given time, with all that I have learnt how to manage time.

Internships Opportunities :

No. The college doesn't provide any internship.May be from the next year,college will start giving internship to the students. We are hoping for the best.As internship is important so we the students of the college always talk to the principal of the college regarding this problem.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are average. Honestly speaking, our college is not quite good for the placements of the students. Some of the companies visit to our college per year and that's the reason for lesser chances of getting a good job.

College Events :

Upto now the events that were celebrated in our college are Freshers day, ECE festival, Independence Day , Republic Day and teachers day. All the events were celebrated amazingly. I can't forget all those times.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I think fee is not that much expensive. Here the students also get the scholarship at the right time. With that a student doesn't feel any kind of tension for paying the college fee. We have to pay 25000 rupees per annum which is average to pay.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loans are not offered to the students here in this college. Yes, but the scholarships are offered in our college which is done by the state government.Generally we get 25000 per year.Students are also getting scholarships on the basis of their category.

Campus Life :

Labs are well maintained. In the last semester we were having physics lab and graphics lab. Both are good for practical work. Everything is comfortable there. Each and every required equipments are available for any experiment. As of sports, we are having an indoor building for indoor games. We are also having Cricket play ground in the college.Volleyball and basketball grounds are also in our college. Students are taking part in the games according to their interest.

Hostel Facilities :

I don't stay in the hostel, so I don't know about our college hostel exactly but the students are not satisfied with the food they are given to eat there. They are always saying that the food is more spicy which is undigestable.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students of our college are helpful always as I have experienced from last six months. They are always telling us about how to tackle with exams. I think they are the best guiders after our staff members. They also support us while playing any game. Some of them are also helpful for the personal problems.As a student can't share everything with the teachers so senior students are there for us.I personally feel happy and even lucky to have such senior students who are having a great thinking regarding their junior students.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is OK. We have two mid exams and a final exam per semester in which lab exams are also conducted. Our seats in the exam are already fixed and that varies after every exam paper. I'm satisfied with exam structure in the college.

Admission :

Actually this college requires an entrance exam EAMCET.I wrote that exam and fortunately got a seat in the college. The first installment I paid was around 35000 in the college. I submitted all the required documents at the time of admission.

Faculty :

Faculty is good. They are quite supportive and hardworking. They usually clear all the doubts to any student in the class.They are always ready to help any student regarding anything.They treat students as their family members.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Placement Experience:

Third year and fourth-year students are eligible for placements. Companies like Qburst, TCS, Byjus, and Applexus have visited and offered placements for the students. The average package is 6LPA. I plan to be placed at any one of the companies with a good package and prepare for the gate exam.
