Course Curriculum Overview :

B. Tech automobile engineering at KITS follows semester system and has a duration of 4 years. There course structure is very good and focuses on lot of research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

Placement Experience :

Value based higher education is the aim of the college. There is the department of placement. KITS provides with great opportunities to its students. There are internships for the students to grow. They also provide with jobs and placements. Many firms like wipro,HCL come and recruit the students. Many students take part in the placement programme.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of KITS for B. Tech automobile engineering is around 4 lakhs which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life :

KITS is very good in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball and so on. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fates in which many other institutions take part and students get abundant exposure.

Admission :

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. The students will have to give the entrance exam for the admission and based on their merit they will be selected.

Faculty :

The faculty of the institution is very good. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.the institution also organises for guest lectures from IITs and NITs.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
