Placement Experience :

Yes the college provide internships but mostly to the cs-it students.companies approach our college for internships in good numbers.The placements are good here but finally it depends on your talent to grab a good job from here

College Events :

Various events such as college feats ,holi ,Diwali and durgapuja are celebrated here with full enthusiasm.students take active participation in all these events.it is very fun if you are part of these events

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure depends on the income of your family if you are from a family with an annual income less than one lakh than you have to pay somewhere around seven thousand per semester.There are categories for different students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are various scholarships provided by the college and some others ventures provide scholarships in ourr college such as op Jindal.some students also avail the samsung scholarships and scholarships from NSP

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities carried out in our college is just enough they are not good as iits.this college mainly focuses on academic growth.labs are old since this college was a very old rec earlier.some hall are old but the new ones are good

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes the alumni is always helpful.alumni also provide funds to our college.Since it’s a very old college so it has a very good network of alumni.there are various meets of alumni inour college throughout the year

Admission :

You have to get a decent rank in her main.May be below 40000 may work if you are a candidate from a different state or if you are from the date state you may get it for somewhere 100000 for general candidates

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
