Just go for it if you want to study pharmacy!!

As a pharmacy student.. I must say we have secure high theoretical knowledge to face the practical.. Those who will go to the MR jobs..the don't have to focus on core subject...but those who persue higher study...be prepared because these subjects are tough....you have to study...colony ,cognisy, ceutics, medicinal chemistry, org and inorg chem, bio chem, bio tech..etc...you also learn management in final year...there is also those internship...all in all very studious but interesting course it is...

Well dipsar has high placements for mpharm candidates... during there 1st year actually... Though bpharm 3rd and 4th year candidate also get few opportunities... But most companies prefer mpharm students as mot bpharm holders persue higher study... Last yrs highest package is 12lakh per annum And average is 5lakh per annum As I mentioned previously Dipsar itself is a brand...so you will get preference over other in office campus also... I plan to persue higher study after getting degree... But even if I have to work..Ill prefer to join production or QA-QC department ... Rather than management

Well there are many societies in our college Paridrishya- photography society Malang- dance society Fitoor- drama society Akriti- drawing society Literary society Music society You can join them through audition Also there are clubs like...Rotaract, nfps, diff to join in which you will get many skill development and knowledge gaining experiences...

Hostel is available for both boys and girls Rooms are generally for single or double use Bathrooms are common Not every room is good...few are in very bad condition Bed and almirah is provided...few rooms has study table also.. Hostel are given focusing on distance... Most non Delhi candidates will get hostel... Accommodation here is truely cheap..as in pg only the rental per month is 10k about where as here it is 40k for year with food 4 times a day Cleaner is available but they will not clean the rooms... But for food it is very bad and unhygienic...I must say

Well it's a govt college and most importantly it's the oldest Pharma clg in India.... So it is my first choice...it itself is a brand... I am a lateral entry student and it is my first choice.. But except it I also applied for Guru Ghasidas in Chattisgarh...I also get a chance there but I decided for dipsar... In West Bengal.... Jadavpur and jalpaiguri is also very good option... But u need to clear an exam jelet to get an addmission there... In dipsar... Lateral entry student are taken on the marks basis...marks of diploma course For direct bpharm..it's also marks basis over 12th marks.,..

Best thing of DIPSAR is there faculty - They are highly cooperative and very friendly There is a teacher who will make you sit ups if you unable to answer correctly during her classes- though it seems terrible but every one enjoys the session and become focused on the subject... There is another teacher who will prepare you for gpat during his classes... Those teachers also help students to prepare poster, doing research and most important is councelling... You will get a proper career guidance from them that will help you choose you future prospects...

We have hostel...but I just say food is very bad here ..even after many complaint no changes happen.. Gym is available but in boys hostel only..girls can go there..but time is fixer for both boys and girls... Now library is in the college but it's not 24x7 ? The worst thing is there is no canteen here...so you can expect food during classes...only a little stall is present where you get somethings like dahi, icecream etc One more worst thing is you cant order anything after 11pm...no delivery boy is allowed in college campus after 11pm...so no mid ni8 pizza But we can play in the college ground at ni8 till 9pm..
