Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum that we have now is very updated . It deas with AI and futuristic subjects which will be needed in the future. And the curriculum is more focused on the practical knowledge on the topic rather than theoritical knowledge. The course curriculum can be further improved by adding internship and project opertunities from the first year itself.

Internships Opportunities

1

No internships yet.WE haven't recievedd any internships yet. That is why I told you earlier that the curriculum should be made in a way as it will provide enough time to do internships or projects apart from the usual therotical classes.

Placement Experience

3

Our college does offer placements but still haven't achieved a 100% placement rate. Still placements are possible for students in CS branch apart from that branch no other branches have hope. No core companies approach our cllege for placement. For an Electronics and Communication student he?she certainly won't be recruited by any core company via campus placements. The highest package was probably around 7 lakhs . I don't know the exact figure still around 7. And average package is around 3.84 lakhs. My plan is to do M.tech from abroad and find a job there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for an academic year having two semesters is around 80k(to be exact it is Rs.77130 ). Apart from this an additional amount of 20k was collected from me which is the caution deposit of 10k and rest10k which include the university fees and other small stuff. The fees is payed semester wise so till now I have payed upto 60k rupees. I booked a managment seat.

Campus Life

3

There are annual technical and cultural fests happening on the month of january and febrary respectively. Apart from that nothing really happens here. No cultural programs and all. The campus is breathtakingly beutiful close to nature and very clean.

Admission

I applied for 4 college include the current one they were : 1)SRM , Chennai 2)M.A.C.E, Kothamangalam 3)MITS , Varikoli 4)V.J.C.E.T, Vazhakulam From these 4 colleges I was rejected by MA college and MITS. I think my KEAM score was too low to make it there . I got a seat at SRM for Electronics and Communication Engineering but was not financialy able enought to afford it. My colleges admission procedure includes selcting the best students having brilliant marks in 12th standard and Keam.

Faculty

4

I exactly don't know the faculty to student ratio. So when it is about exams, in a semsester there are two internal exams and one semester exam. The internal exams are organised by the college itself while the semester exams are organised by the KTU university. The internal exams itslef are quite difficult but when compared to the semester exam they are easy. Not many students fail but still a certain number fails to clear the exam.

Night Life

3

My favourite hangout spot would be the cafeteria. The gyms not open during class time . The campus starts at 8:55am and ends at 4:15pm. I don't know about the safety of the locality as I am not a local

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows
