Review your college

Remarks :

Extra curricular activities is very little when compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview :

My college is affiliated to MG university. In first year university exams were conducted yearly and all other years exam is semester based. Apart from university exams and there were also internal exams for each subject. Semester wise there were 2 internals gone on. We have 3 industrial visits as our curriculum demands it which would help us in our placement opportunities. And it somehow helpful.

Placement Experience :

Infosys,Bell technolabs,TCS,Poornam Infovision and many more whose names I can't recall.Basically there were a test followed by interview.sometime there will be group discussion round.

College Events :

We had college day, technical fest, department day, women's Day yearly. And seminars and workshops conducted occasionally. For workshops and seminars they try to make sure the students participation.Every one will participate in it without hesitation

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yearly they charged 75000 as tuition fee and another 3000 for lab and other miscellaneous fees. The tuition fees are fixed by government and it was same I. Every colleges. No additional fees are remitted from students other than this. And college will do some relaxation on the fees on students with poor financial background. A scholarship was given by management to help out these students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes. There was a management scholarship worth 30000 provided for students with poor family background. They have to submit forms to prove their eligibility. And after verifying students will get the scholarship.

Campus Life :

My college life was awesome. I can't find a better option for spending 4 years of my life. The academics were very smooth. There were no partially in basis of gender. All are treated equally. Although extracurricular activities were very short we enjoyed what we had.

Hostel Facilities :

No I was a day scholar. Even though I heard about the hostel which was really nice. Students have all the facilities there. Accomodation and canteen were nice. I don't know how much they have to pay for the hostel fee.

Alumni/Alumna :

I am not keeping any contact with my senior. I hardly know them. The alumni meet is conducting every yea. And we will get the invitation and if we need any help we can reach out. Alumni members will be there for you.

Admission :

My cousin studied in this college and I got good reviews from her and I made my mind to join here.I got through the entrance test and applied here via allotment process.I got the seat in secoy allotment.I chose Electronics and communications as my discipline.Classes began on June 2014.

Faculty :

As a total there were around 150 tutors in our college. For each department there were 20 or more teachers. Teachers are well educated and friendly. They were expertise in their subjects. They gave relevant ideas to the topic apart from text books. Helped in preparing notes

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
