Course Curriculum Overview

From beginning, I like mathematics and in Computer Engineering, we have to do maths only and another thing is that I had interest in coding and computer languages which made me to choose this field. By technical competitions and hackathons arranged by college makes me to give my best to my learning.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 2780 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college gives us great opportunities of internship plans and some of them are paid internships and some are those in which we gain salary for our work in those internships. Many companies offers internships and gives tasks accordingly.

Fees and Financial Aid

In LD College of Engineering, we have 1500 rupees as semester fees and other 1000 to 2000 rupees as exam fees and exam fees increases as per the semester ahead and also some expenses comes from books we purchase and it includes 500 to 1000 rupees.

Campus Life

Overall experience with the campus is nice but the best thing hits me different is the nature and the kind of forest like college which makes my experience fabulous and we have more 10 clubs in college but I like technical clubs and sports club more and as our college is very old, since 1950, infrastructure is normal.

Admission

My goal was to make admission in DAIICT, Gandhinagar, but because of my merit number, I didn't get admission in that college and at second number, LD College was there and by my luck and try, I got admission in this college.

Faculty

I am in Computer Engineering department in LD College of Engineering where we have mid-semester exams and regular class assignments and in last, finally we have end-semester exams and our overall marks are counted as per our mid-semester exams and vivas conducted by our faculties and final exams result.

Night Life

Our college hostel time closes at 10.30 pm and campus also closes at same time and there is lot of eating areas and cafeterias around our college and that university road in order of safety, it can gain 10 on 10.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester students are eligible for placement. Infosys, tcs, micron, etc visited our college. Infosys offered 10 lpa, tcs offered 7lpa, micron offered 12 lpa. Highest package is 15 lpa, while the avg package is 10 lpa. 80% students are getting placed. I want to pursue M.tech

Honesty is the best policy

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement, but the nice facality of this college is they conduct mock interview session to test students skills and based on marking they provide guidance. Students are eligible for placement who have more than 6.5 CGPA. In this campus you will find many companies with nice packages, during my time there was min 2LPA and max was around 6-7 LPA and profiles is depends on companies. If the student have proper knowledge on field they definitely get placement.

The teachers of our college are well qualified as most of them are PhD holders from IITs. So, you can expect good teaching quality. Our university follows the same course curriculum as IIT Roorkee. It makes students industry-ready, but since there has been an economic recession, now job opportunities are less.The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is not up to our expectations. This might be because of the online medium of learning. The classes are not very engaging. The course curriculum is relevant. It includes a lot of subjects which are practical in daily life.

I choose IT because I was interested in it. The teaching method was really good. Every faculty member tried to give the best resources and explanations. they were always available to solve our queries and doubts. there was a mid sem and a final semester exam.
