What Students Say
Likes
- First of all, I liked the college environment very much. All the sections were divided like lab, library etc.
- Students also get books from the college which are important from the examination point of view. A small charge for which is taken from the students at the time of admin.
- all teachers were well educated. The office staff was also very nice. All information was made available to the students on time.
Dislikes
- We had to go to other colleges for our exams just like there are centres
- Our college never promotes sports. Neither does it have any facilities for games. Also, desired placements are often not available.
- Sometimes one has to stand in line several times to get books and the books are not available on time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I will rate the main course curriculum 7/10, Some updated topics were missing. The curriculum was overall comprehensive but could be further refined according to industry trends. The curriculum gave me basic skills and knowledge which are necessary for real-world applications. Updated topics should be included that are according to today's industry standards, such as data analysis and digital tools. Apart from lecture-based learning, there should be more practical workshops and interactive sessions.
Internships Opportunities
There are good opportunities for internships available in our college, Duration: Internships are usually for 2-6 months. Eligibility: Mandatory for final year students. Outcome: Internships give students an edge in job placement, and provide them with practical exposure
Placement Experience
Placements are well managed in our college but it depends on the course and industry trends. Highest Package: ?4-5 lakh/year Around 70-80% of students get campus placement. I want to join a good company through placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
• I paid fees between Rs 3600 and Rs 3800 on an annual basis. • Tuition fee and any other fee was not taken from us because I had done BA. • Our college offers many courses so the structure of fee all is different. • I used to get Rs 4000 every year as scholarship.
Campus Life
My overall campus life experience was very positive. Social interactions, festivals, and extracurricular activities helped maintain balance with academics. Annual Festival: Our college has an annual cultural fest "Spectrum" which is held every year in February or March. It includes singing, dancing, and dramatics events. Books and Journals: The library has 5000+ books, journals, and e-resources related to various subjects. Clubs: Groups such as photography club, literary club, and drama society help students explore their interests. Impact: These clubs develop leadership skills and provide opportunities to meet new people.
Admission
Faculty: The teachers here are experienced and teach with industry exposure Some of the other colleges I applied to had weaker infrastructure and placements than this college. Admission fees here were also reasonable compared to other colleges.
Faculty
The facilities are good. Teachers also like to pay attention to those students who want to learn and move forward. The thing I like most in my college is its teaching environment, all the teachers take classes on time. And complete the syllabus on time. All the departments in the college are separate, which is a very good thing, due to this other students do not face any kind of problem. There are annual exams in our college, there are no semester exams. However, before 2018, semester exams were also conducted. The college does not have transportation facilities. Students have to walk a long distance. Which is a very bad thing.
Night Life
Our college nightlife is a bit limited, but students get some good options to unwind. Library, cafeterias, and gym have fixed timings. Late-night coffee and snacks can be enjoyed in the cafeteria. The basketball court and open amphitheater are favorite hangout spots for students. Being part of the nightlife improves social bonding. Late-night hangouts and discussions helped me build memories with friends and reduce stress.
