Likes

A big 300 acer land bring lots of opportunities to build new infrastructure for students.
The staff is very friendly here, and supportive for future guidance.
3 separate computer labs for mechanical department, CAD, opration managment and Heat transfer

Dislikes

Overall quality of basics festivities like, garden, play ground, connecting roads pathway is poor
No separate amphitheater and hall for cultural programs
Even with big 300 acer land space, there is only 12 room girls hostel and no boys hostel here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well we didn't get chance to experience whole college life to to pandemic, but culture program like taragani is fantastic, also college students also organized club like Arya litracy, kshamta well fare, photography club etc,

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission + 1st sem is 24,000 including 5000 refundable security deposit, then every semester I paid 17,000 (including examination fee of 1500) Per semester fee structure breakdown (for GAS seat)- Tution fee 7500 Development fee 7500 Caution money (refundable) 5000 Univ Development fee 2500 Univ Exam fee 1450 Insurance fee 50 There is no Tution fee for SC/ST seat, And normal seat Tution fee is 16000

Campus Life

GECA SAEINDIA is automobile club which also participated in Baja india championship several time, also many technical workshops related to robotics, coding and software had taken place there, i visited AutoEXPO 2020 the entire trip was sponsored by collage, we got all refunds by collage it self.

Admission

I applied through REAP portal, and my primary choice was MBM jodhpur, CTAC udaipur, RTU kota, I got GECA mechanical in EWS category, Admission procedure is very simple, you can apply through REAP portal or Directly through campus after seat allocation of REAP, Seats are allocated by JEE main marks and then 12th marks

Faculty

The staff of college is good, they are really helpful, One of the best faculty amoung them is Dr Chandan sharma, he is very supportive towards students and always guid us to right choices, he was my final year project guide too, during my project season they provided necessary contact for research and allowed to use campus room for project pupose.

Night Life

GECA is situated near badkiya circle NH 48 bypass ajmer, and there is only village other side of 6 lane highway road, there is no nigh life footfall here, although small shops always open till 10 pm, so you can find some students groups there chilling on chai tapri and cafe.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

I choose this college because it is agivt. College with A+ grades and also this is in my home town so it was convinent and cheaper for me . other colleges in option for me were jecrc,manipal but these are private with high fees . The admission process for this college is through REAP(Rajasthan engineering admission process) which is held after the jee advanved results you need to filkl options for colleges in rajasthan and you will get allocated to one of the colleges according to the choices you filled.
