The faculty members of BBA Department are very helpful and understanding.

The college is mote into politics rather than focusing in studies
There are few super seniors who still remain in the college
The politics matter hampers the mental health of many students in many ways

Course Curriculum Overview

The business management aspects of the course that influenced my decision to choose this course. The college hosts orientation and events ehich prepare us for real corporate life. Online method of teaching can be improved.

Class Size: 97Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fees for the BBA course is Rs.45000 along with the exam fees which is also the fees for 1st year and then we have to pay the fees accordingly in semester wise and each semester fees is Rs.23300.

Campus Life

This year our college is celebrating the winter carnival is instead of Lanon theke lenon whuch occur during the durga puja time. Even all the other festivals like saraswati puja is also celebrated in this college. Almost all the books which are referred by the professors are available in the library. Annual sports and other events take place in our college. There is club for dance, and the college has chosen few students and created a band which participate in inter college competitions.

Admission

I chose this college due to FINANCIAL ISSUES. I applied for the others colleges like THE BHAWANIPUR EDUCATION SOCIETY and SCOTTISH CHURCH. The other colleges are not as affordable as Asutosh College.I didn't get any rehection from any collges instead I got offer from both the colleges.

Faculty

The teaching staffs are 6 while the non teaching staffs are 8. They are very understanding and helpful, they not only do treat us as their students but also as their friends. The internals take place before the semester exam and the ratio of students passing the exam in semester exam depends on their capability of understanding the subjects.

Night Life

Actually in this building three colleges take place- Jogomaya College, Asutosh College and Shyamaprasad College so the crowd is maintained from the morning till the night. The Asutosh College has canteen where we can get the food of out choice. The college also has gymnasium for the students. There are famous hangout places like dominos and other cafes and eateries; even there are malls like lakemall, forum mall near the college. If we move a little bit away from the college towards bhowanipore there are many museums, designer's shops, etc.

An Awesome Experience

Placement Experience:

•from 2nd semester students become eligible for campus placement. •name of the companies are Wipro, TCS, Berger, Itc Limited, Bajaj Allianz and I am not sure about the number of offers made. •the highest package is now up to 34 lakhs and the lowest package is 2 lakhs • there is no manually percentage required if you are upgrading for the skill you are pursuing you are definitely gonna get the placement opportunity. • my plans after getting this degree is 2 pursue for MBA along with some jobs in corporate field.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after 3rd year.. The companies visit are Addidas. The average package is 2LPA.. The percentage of students getting placement is about 80%... My plan after getting the degree is to get the job in stadium.

I chosed this course because I want to do MBA so I thought it would be great to do BBA .The students are well behaved and some students really onto their goals, work hard and focused.In the department of BBA there are equally girls and boys both gets educated.The professors who teach us are highly educated,they teach us exceptionally means about what's going on in the real world from their experiences and skills as well as syllabus,but the teachers are not usually takes classes some times it's idle .Term exams are nor easy neither difficult it's average level ,if you study you will easily pass.The term exams are conducted every half of the year (every six months).

I applied in a lot of colleges such as presidency, st Xavier's College Kolkata, Lady Brabourne, Loreto , Scottish Church got accepted in scottish, Loreto , brabourne I chose Asutosh because they made me feel comfortable and has the best geography department. I have applied for Dinabandhu Andrews College and also New Alipore College for mathematics hons and I got selected for both the colleges and I started class in Dinabandhu Andrews College for few days but there the faculty used to talk in Bengali and the faculty members are not really good also the ambience so I applied in Asutosh College and I got selected too over there....so I shifted to Asutosh College, as I always wanted to persue this course from Asutosh College due to there faculty in this subject is really very good. An honest opinion by a recent graduate

I applied to presidency, st. Xavier's, but as I was from Covid batch, I couldn't meet the required cutoff for those colleges. So yes I got rejection from them. Had I given my ISC board exams, I believe I'd have scored better marks, but hard luck :) I willingly chose this college over the other colleges of Calcutta University, considering this is the best. This college gets numerous applications, so it might be difficult to get the admission, but work upon your merit and connections. There's no entrance. You need to meet their eligibility criteria which keeps get changing, so refer to their website. Your merit will be considered. You must have a good network as well.
