Obvious thing that we all dislike is the college campus area
The college campus is just about 25 acres which is too small.
Mess food is not good , I am taking food in North mess but I hate how they cook .

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes so , one really good thing about our college is that it holds the tag of an autonomous college established in Bengaluru. Our college was established in the year 1980 , its an old college . Course is updated and new as far as we know and see .

Internships Opportunities

I'm a third sem student in the ece depart of our college . Ece being a core branch we haven't yet seen any internship calls from the college side that they are organising programs as such , we know that we have to do it ourselves .

Placement Experience

To be honest , I see people struggling for placements here , if you are not up to the mark and not prepared for placement even if companies come you cant grab the offer. I have seen people's who have prepared well devoted themselves for placements , only they have got good decent offers here .

Fees and Financial Aid

So my name is kishor Biradar , I got admitted to this college named Dr ambedkar institute of technology in the year 2023 by the exam called kcet , through kcet our fees is around 59000 per year , this is only our tuition fees .

Campus Life

Our college is lindof a decent college I would say , tbh I was trying for even better college to pursue my education but I would say it all depends on the person and his callibre to do thing and succeed in his life , campus life is also good we have 4 fests organised per year , the locality is nice .

Hostel Facilities

So I stay in the Ashoka bhavan of our college , it is one of the hostels other than siddhartha and ananada bhavan . This is the hostel that has the warden office , I share room with other 3 people as my room is of 4 beds . I pay yearly 1 lakh for this room , yeah it is neat and maintained . The mess facility is a bit downgraded I don't like the taste .

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I am born and brought up in Karnataka , for me kcet exam for engineering colleges in Karnataka is a must try . I tried this exam in 2023 and got some ok ok rank that was enough to land me in this college where I would end up paying 59000 per year as tuition fees which is fair enough I guess .

Faculty

Yeah I can tell you about this , faculties that teach us main subjects are nice as well as those who come for placement classes from a company named jv global are also very nice and co-operative .There is no doubt about the behaviour of our faculties , they are really good .

Night Life

One really good about this college is it's neighborhood , it is located in a good locality of Bengaluru called nagarbhavi ..I won't say the best but yeah we have access to lot many things . We can roam , enjoy and come back to college before it's 10 pm in the night

Student become eligible for campus selection in their third semester like I in the sector semester will have someone internships where students will get to know about the industry they will work for many companies in internship and then they will be eligible for the interviews in the 4th year itself like the last two semesters the companies visitor in BMS College of engineering Amazon Google Microsoft and top companies all that all the most top companies because the strength of VMS College of engineering + killed students are very high percentage of students getting placed is like 7030 as in the 30% many of them of 2 highest teddy and some of them do research and other stuff so I would say 70% of them get placed and 30% of them do highest studies place do business and other stuff like star startups mostly I also do higher studies in doing MBA or masters in other fields of interest if I get a good placement I will do job for 1 hour 2 years and then do highest studies

The college with good staff!!

Placement Experience:

From 8 8th semester, students become eligible for the campus. The companies like IT companies offer made. The highest package is 6 lakh and the lowest package is 3 lakh. 25% of students are selected for the campus. I plan to work at google company.

My honest review

I mainly choose this college because I felt our college offered more campus placements compared to colleges that I got selected into . I applied to every top colleges for courses such as CS ,IS and AI .But I was mainly aiming to get selected into Nitte Meanakshi Engineering college, SIT institute of engineering , DR Ambedkar Institute of technology, Acharya Institute of Technology , CMR UNIVERSITY . So First I got CMR college in first round , In second round of counsilling I got into Acharya institute of Technology, I though cuttoff would fall for 3rd round so waited for third round and got into Dr ambedkar institute of technology. I mainly aimed in getting selected into SIT college or Nitte Meanakshi college but cuttoff was higher compared to my Kcer rank . So I got rejected from those colleges .I think colleges I got rejected has more Internship and campus palcement compared to our colleges . I also heard SIT college has compulsory involvment of students in hachathon to attend placement classes . Admission process was simple , after i got selected into college I paid government fees through NEFT and brought the receipt and gave it to college where I also paid 12,000 rs towards college . Mainly students get into college but KCET or COMID-K exams . Generally kcet cuttoff was 18,000 for my cathegory and comidk cuttoff was nearly 20,000 . Mainly students prefer KCET as fees we pay is nearly half comapared to comidk exam fee...Read More
