- Outdated curriculum set by the university
- No choice of electives based on offerings by the university
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum set by the university is irrelevant to the current business environment. It does not focus on the holistic development of the student. It just seems like something one is forced to study and clear the paper for
Placement Experience
They do have a placement department. But post COVID the number of companies coming to campus has reduced. The average CTC of students getting placed is in the range of 2 to 4 LPA. While i was a student the college did conduct both online and offline placement drives
Fees and Financial Aid
It was around 20,000 indian rupees. My batchmates with reservation did have concession at some extent based on the category they belonged to. Student from lower income backgrounds also had concession in the fees ranging on case to case basis
Campus Life
The campus life is very vibrant with a range of activities and celebrations happening across the year. They organize events like council investiture ceremony, annual days, traditional day, food fest and so on
Admission
I did not apply to any other colleges. I chose the college because of its proximity to my place of living. The admission process is pretty smooth with filling of application, payment of fees and meeting the principal
Faculty
Faculties heading the departments are PhD holders in their domain with vast experience and knowledge. There is a healthy faculty student relationship who encourage students to engage in activities beyond the classroom
Night Life
Since the college is located in a village, the night life is very silent here. Cafes are located at a distance of beyond 1.2 kilometres. Night life would be experienced by a student if they go to Manipal or Udupi.
