Course Curriculum Overview

5

In our collage The curriculum given by the NMC called the CBME guidlines for MBBS 2024 are followed. This curriculum is hard but it is also required to produce good quality of doctors in our country .

Internships Opportunities

5

In our collage after completion of mbbs there is a compulsory internship of 1 year in which we get stipend of around 30000 per month it help us to inhance our clinical knowleadge. In internship we are posted to diffent departments for some amount of time for knowing and being the part of functioning of that particular department.

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year mbbs we have to pay 33739 rupees for entier year. It include our hostle fee, tution fee, admision fees, develpmental fees, lab fees but not include out mess fees which is aroudn 5 thousand a month. This fees is same for all students whatever thier category is. Scholarships are not provided by the collage but there are many differnet organisation which provide scholarship for MBBS and up goverment also provide scholarship for the same.

Campus Life

5

In banaras hindu university there are peoples from all over india and out side of india. There are varitey of peoples of different fileds which is good socially . There are many groups in which we can participate like chess group, badminton club, quiz club etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facilities are also best in this collage in 1st year we are alorted a sharing room in which we two lives which is also good because in 1st year we are unknown to each other so this thing help us. In hostel there are clean bathroom toilets sports facilities like badmintion and table tennis.

Admission

There is a examination called NEET in india by which we get our medical collages. In that exam my rank was 790 on that rank i can easily get any aiims except aiims delhi but i opted for ims bhu because it is a central institute which is funded by central goverment and as compare to new aiims it is a old institute having a large alumi network and old legacy which is helpfull in upcoming future and it aslo has 50 percent pg qouta which was the main reason for which i joined the institute.

Faculty

5

faculty to student ratio in this collage is good as compare to other collages where Junior residents takes theory lectures but in this collage it is not like that there is sufficent number of faculty. Best one of them is proff Royana Singh who teaches us anatomy there are so many things which we can learn from them. Exam are on monthly basis but tests are on weakly basis.

Interview Experience

5

No in ims there is no interview for addmsion there is only neet exam for entering into ims bhu intialy their were interviews for selction but know there is no interview only you have to give neet exam for selection.

Night Life

5

Outside the campus there are so many cafe's hotels , gyms , libraires and some of them are open 24/7 and there charges are also nominal. For hangout there are ghat's of holy river ganges on which we often go to hangout with our friends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Current MBBS curriculum is purely clinical based and hence clinical postings are crucial. It is mandatory to attend them and strict actions are taken if you fail to do so. This curriculum prepares you for your NEETpg or NExT. Exams held are semester 1,2 and pre professionals and then professional. Timing 3 hours and difficulty level is okay. Mostly questions come from important topics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is one of the most respected courses in India so it was always a dream to become a doctor. Faculty is abundant in every department and there are 100 students in every batch with 8-10 faculty members in every department. The faculty in each department is at different position and post on the basis of their qualification and experience. There is one head of department in each department who is the most senior in terms of experience and their year of MBBS batch. Under HOD are two professors and under them two assistant professors. There are 3-4 junior residents in each department. The teaching method varies from professor to professor and some teachers are efficient in terms of their teaching way and helping students understand difficult topics. The course is extremely difficult with lots of stress due to never completing syllabus and diffucult testing exams. The exams are held regularly each month as every topic is completed. Passing in these exams is a bit difficult.
