Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College, popular with the name GSVM Medical College, is a government medical college established in 1955. It was named after the great freedom fighter and journalist Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi. The college was earlier affiliated with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. Later, in 2021, GSVM Medical College was affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University Kanpur and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). It is located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
GSVM Medical College offers medical, nursing, and paramedical courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and super speciality levels. The admission is on the basis of Neet exams. The cutoff is decided and the qualifying students do the counselling after this they are allotted the college. For the session of 2019 the cutoff for general category was above 600 marks
