Course Curriculum Overview
The timing and frequency of exams is very very long and a bit tiring. The teaching and curriculum methods are good. They use interactive methods and host a lot of interactive activities that actually help us with the course. I'm not sure how this prepares us for the real world, but I'm pretty sure it helps us with problem solving and budget
Internships Opportunities
there is no such details, but in JD, there is a 200% placement rate because there is literally 6 to 7 kids which is very easy to get for internship, but for other specialisation like fashion design or fashion communication, let's internship rate, but there is at least a 95% internship rate, which is good, it's dependent on the kids work and how they do or excel. Some people get really good internship. Some don't it really depends on the work you're doing. There is nothing in the hands of the college, but if you do a good work, I think you can easily get like a good internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
the total fees is around 1.6 lakhs or more. for every specialisation, the fees is same there is no additional fees for different specialisation. There are scholarship opportunities, but I have not seen anyone received them yet.
Campus Life
there is a much social life because I'm staying in a hostel and the in times are 730 which is not so good because like that's too low, so you can't enjoy as much. The hostel wards are very strict. The college is very strict about clothing and about what you're doing. You can't really bunk a lot. There is a strict attendance and there is not much to do around and if you want to go outside in the city, it will take you a lot of time so college life is going to be a bit difficult and maybe boring. If you are a party person, I would not recommend because the main city is so far from here that you would not enjoy anything. There is nothing nearby. Just a school and normal Town and everything except that is out in the city which is around 5 to 6 km away, depending on where you want to go, that is also not the main city. The main city is around 20 km.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is fine. The wards are fine. The security is fine. The one thing that I don't like is that the time is 7:30 PM, which is not which is okay for weekdays, but not okay for weekends, and if you come in late that there is a lot of complaining and one are bit rude. The food is fine someday someday it's not, the hostel is clean. The workers are fine if you want to lead a simple life, this is good.
Admission
this college provides a course that no other college does so that's why I chose this and I feel like it's safe because it's a women's College and the fees is reasonable. The course is good and it is everything that I'm looking for if you want to do jewellery design, I would recommend this college, not if you're a guy, but definitely if you are a girl, it is a good college for girls and for other specialisation to like fashion design, fashion communication, textile design and they have another subject name as interdisciplinary where you can choose a main subject, subject and a minor subject, which is a good choice
Faculty
The frequency to student ratio is good. They are very approachable and friendly and actually solve your problems. Some teachers are not so good, but they do their work. There are 2 to 3 different types of exams. They are moderate level exams. The jury exams are the most difficult tests are fine, and the exams are moderate, half of the stuff is not relevant, but I'm still in first year, so I could be wrong
Night Life
there is no no, no no life night life literally no nightlife. The whole places, literally abandoned like there is nobody roaming around in the night. The hostel is closed. The college is closed. There is no shops around. It is a town that feels like a modern village
