Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I had not decided what field of design I wanted to go into and this is kind of like a generalized design degree. The course is unique and futuristic. The course is very well designed by the founding dean and initial faculty members. We have regular assignments followed by a term-end or module-end examination. Details about the course are given on the website. The submission timing are strict and so is the attendance. Faculty keeps changing, therefore, no comment about that can be made, it's better to visit the college and speak to the current batches. Overall the faculty provides good guidance and has good experience.

Placement Experience
Placements are given mostly in uiux and research roles- largely for digital products. the acceptance depends on your portfolio and interview. placements are 100% . you can also find your own place to intern at
Fees and Financial Aid
the yearly fees are from 3.5-4 lakh for 4 years. you'll also have to spend on your own for a good laptop ( around 70k to 1 lakh), raw materials for assignments- relative, subscription for creative cloud or other software and probably some external storage as well.
Campus Life
We have sustainability, graphic and photography, sports, tech and cultural clubs now- which is very new so i cant say much. the library has very nice design , sci fiction books. lockers are provided. workshop is there for prototyping but material has to be bought on our own. alumni conducts events which are fun. a lot of external speakers come to give talks which is great for inspiration and exposure. the campus is a section in the mithibai building which has a lot of other colleges as well so its always very crowded and busy . but the classrooms of sod are good. canteen food is meh.
Admission
I had applied during lockdown so it was entirely online. You can apply if you're from any background - science commerce or arts. The application form and details are online. The entrance is a separate one for this school.
Interview Experience
interview questions were about what i think this course offers, a few creative questions about how i would image this interview in ar/vr and how would the uiux of a controller for rain would be. they also asked me about certain pieces in my portfolio , if this similar thing were to be made for xyz how would you make it etc. pretty on the spot but easy to answer.
