- Location is very good, U r in city beautiful chandigarh which have lot of attraction wit it, u have it part where lot of startups ed tech are available
- Cultural club activities especially for Punjabi oriented is very good

- Management of college nowadays not working well
- Infrastructure is not improving as in comparison nits
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am fond of electronics so it's a my choice branch, as per curriculum more things for practical and industrial knowledge is missing,here you only get to know all about the basic building blocks of electronics engineering , for improvement practical things have to increase and new technology have to be introduced, as for exams difficulty level is good it depends on or varies from subject to subject some are easy to crack and some u find very difficult ,frequency is okay. In 4 months semester u give exam after 2 months for mid term then more 2 months for end-term
Placement Experience :
From 7th semester u will sit in the placement cycle If I talk about this year then companies like Microsoft,Goldman Sachs ,chegg, Uber,, McKinsey etc visited Around 40-50 companies have visited till now. For highest package it's for Microsoft ig this year 53l And average package for software companies is around 12 lakhs Percentage of students getting placed is very low this year Around 30-40 % placed till now and this cycle continues till May end About my plans well I m preparing for govt examination
Fees and Financial Aid :
94000/- per semester is fee for us general category students For sc,st category it is category fee for oddsem which is lesser than 94000/- and for even semester it is 6000/- Also merit scholarship is there for students who the top 2 students of class get fee waiver for next semester, also for bpl students fer is waived off
Campus Life :
Pecfest which is north india's biggest fest college fest after iit Delhi, it's a annual cultural and tech fest mostly held in month of November u will see here different cultural competition, star night like this year Salim Sulaiman, and robowars etc.Its overall amazing Fir library it have lot of books available for our curriculum but other than curriculum u will find few.in classes u have smart board which help in sharing slides and presenting content. For sports that is not much good here u not have any coach for all games we have cricket basketball football team
Hostel Facilities :
In hostels u get single or double sharing room allotment is based on first come first serve so fee is same for 80000/- per year which reduce per year those who get room shared will get some reimbursement. And some rooms are too big where tripple sharing is also available so there is choice for students to either take single room or triple shared There is 4 hostels for 4 years General for boys1st year goess in shivalik hostel Then in 2nd year u will get aravali hostel Then I 3rd year u will get kurukshetra hostel And in 4th year u get Himalaya hostel For girls 2 hostels kc, vindhya About mess in kurukshetra, Himalayas mess are co-operatives so u get a good quality food here,
Admission :
Main reason for choosing this college is its name and location , I am getting same branches in other nits like kkr Jalandhar etc but I choosen it because of its prime location and nearby form my hometown. I applied through jossa councelling for admission. I applied for nits and pec and in this pec was my first as t have good packages at my joining and location is good whereas nits like Jalandhar kkr are far from the city For admission jossa councelling is done Cutoff like if for my branch it varies each year but on average 14k-19k for other state quota and for home state 18k-23k In Jee mains exam
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is good here as u have strength of 120 students per branch which is divided in two sections of 60, and approaching facilties after classes is easy .most of them will meet u at their office after class time. Sumitra Mahajan was one of our best faculty from which I studied engineering mathematics in semester 1,2 how she teaches is absolutely amazing just need to pay attention in her class. Seriously not even to open book before paper u will excel. For dislike there are many faculties so it's not i think so to mention each and every name but one of it was mech
Night Life :
There is one gym in pec which timings is like from 6-8 :30 am and then from 5 pm -8:30pm about cafeteria we have a Nescafe and campus cafe point which generally open by 9 and close by 6-7pm library here open by 9 am and closes by 8pm but in exam days it extend till midnight and for hostels boys have in Time for 9:30 and girls have 8:30 0r 9 pm.forin college u have places like nav top floor or oat back side , admin stairs. And talking about night life ya then it's absolutely great for in city like Chandigarh. U can spend time in clubs etc and ya it's safe to walk even at night outside but still its not advisable to do so
