- Events are good but they are not very frequent.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very relevent and modern. It is very new and the course was introduced only 3 years ago. We have alot of practical based learning and we have alot of coding projects that are included in the curriculum. Teachers are also focusing on more real life learning rather than theoretical knowledge and we have good labs that support that. The difficulty level of the exams are moderate and it is not very hard to pass the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fees for open caste is 98000 per year. For obc caste the fees is 55,850 in total per year for btech courses. The fees mentioned above includes all the caution fees, tuition fees, development fees and everything. Sc fees for the college is 750 rs per year and for vj/nt caste is 13000rs.
Campus Life :
The college does not do alot of fests, we have 2 main fests in the college, which are abhigyaan (technical event) and Meraki event which is the college fest. The student clubs are very active here and every week there are events which happen here. Some student led clubs include coding club (bytearq) and entrepreneurship cell (ecell). Sports and extracurricular activities are a little less but students participate in external sports competitions actively.
Admission :
I chose this college because the fees is very affordable and the return on investment is good. Placements are also fine and they are improving every year. I had 93 percentile in mhtcet and I had plenty of other options like dy Patil akurdi pune, sinhagad college pune etc. The admission process is by mhtcet and jee. For my course the cutoff was 94+ percentile in mhtcet.
Faculty :
Faculty is very friendly here and they are very helpful. I have no complaints with the faculty since they always try their best to make the students understand. The faculty for digital electrical engineering and mathematics are the best. Exams are semester wise and the end semester exams they happen once per 6 months. Small mid semester exams also take place but carry less weightage(30%)
Night Life :
Late night activities are not much since the college is pretty far from Kolhapur city(5-6km). But there are cafes and restaurants and gyms near the college campus. Famous hangout places are Rankala lake Kolhapur, food court (just next to college) etc.
