Course Curriculum Overview

2

Ok as per curriculum there are 32 core 8 elective With in core there is a project, internship and all When it comes to curriculum its least cared as they gave us no knowledge,I mean they give us this 20 pages concept map for each subject and 10 days per subject and expect us to excel. Not the subject with this small no use units of subject with 5 units they complete a full engineering subject. So no prior study time is given semester they will anytime no before hand schedule. No course will make us prepare to face the real world we need to pinch our schedule and learnthe skill by our selfs. When it comes to exam the paper is always out of portion so difficult to pass. So there are many areas where they need immense changes.

Placement Experience

2

Ok in final year we get to choose between study abroad or placement So yes startups and small companies comes for hiring And big companies who hired in bulk like Accenture cognizant also conduct drive As per my year There are 2 thousand students out of which about 150 choose higher education, 70placed in Accenture,20 to 30 placed in cognizant, 15 to 20 placed in tcs and 100 to 150 placed in small startups, rest are waiting . Out of 100% students only 40 to 50% get placed. Maximum package is 4 to 6LPA commonly 4LPA Least is 2lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Ok I was the first batch after lockdown 2021 batch, so the fees for our batch is comparatively lower that my senior batch the admission fee was 5k and the tution fee+amenity fee was 2 lakh but I secured above 90% in 12th so the fees was cut down to 1.1lakh, so if you secure less or equal to 70%then u have to pay full amount. There is no full scholarship. This amount will continue for all four years no increase or decrease during college years. For aiml, aids, cse, ece same fees but for bioinformatics and eee the fee structure is different. When it comes to other fee there is alot to pay For semester exam for each subject we have to pay 600 rs, and for material fee for every semester 1500, for culturals 1500 to 2000,for project presentation summit 3500, for uniform 5000, for placement training and drives 15k and for convocation 7000 to 9k. For my juniors 2022 batch the fees is 3lakhs and 2023 batch 3.5lakh For 2024 batch 4 lakh.

Campus Life

3

Every year in the month of May or June we will have a cultural event which happens for one week and there is also a Pongal celebration this two are only grandly celebrated. During cultural the whole week we will have College as usual 8 to 3 pm after 3 only cultural so it's really tiring and mostly no can enjoy properly. There are lot of clubs but no active participant as all this activities must be active after college hrs only so most students feel burdensome to be a active participant in any club. Sports and ncc are least cared in this college. When it comes to library there is this sail Library which is huge and have various books.

Hostel Facilities

2

There are different type of rooms available 1 college hostel: >There are 4 in 1,6 in 1,ac and non AC >As per ac room with bunk bed and individual shower room only in ground floor ,they are two types 6in one and 4 in one both are air conditioned. They have premium look and bunk bed and as of rest room for every floor common restrooms. >As of normal ac and non AC room a metal bed with no matress and cupboard are given. >For each floor common restrooms are given and common bathroom for all floors except ground floor they each room has individual bath room. >No mess , all must eat in canteen , when we pay our hostel fee 40k from it will be added to a food app using which we pay to the canteen and eat the whole year For ground floor ac 6in 1 95k fees,4in 1 1.15lakh fees >Rest floor 4 in one and 6 in one 45 to 75 thousand. 2, pgs and rental apartments:. There are lot of apartments like Vijay Shanti, kg, godrej, tata and pg like stanza and all Vijay Shanti is least recommended of all as it's pricy and maintenance is high

Admission

I applied for multiple other university and college like srm, vit, narayanamma institute of technology, hindustan and Bharath university. Srm - I didn't choose because of the student atmosphere and fees is too high Vit - i didn't choose because the fees the tooo high and AIML course was not available when I asked.

Faculty

3

The faculty to students ratio is poor , as they take alot of admission every year. The faculties are intelligent but the adminstration hands them a subject which they have little or no idea about so mostly facilities provide least knowledge, even if the faculty tries their level best as for each subject only 10 days are given , faculties couldn't teach us properly and the curriculum of is only basic but in exam they give more advanced questions which is impossible to cover in 10 days as 10th day we will have semester exam of that subject. For every semester 4 subjects and each subject will be completed with in 10 days ,yes only tell days. They prior the least knowledge. In a class 40 students among them 25 to 30 will pass rest arear. The course curriculum is least relevant to what actually need to be learnt. Ofcourse there few sincere and hardworking faculties like Sivakumar sir, shaik sir and Vikram sir from placement dept, anusuya mam and Saraswathi mam etc but sometimes they feel helpless because of the college.

Night Life

3

Favourite hangout spot is stone bench, As the university is of 180+ acres there are lot of hangout place , thers is a huge Library, a parlour (unisex), lot of canteens . As per hostel rules there is not much rules for boys but for girls there are lot of restrictions and rules like 1, attendance at 6pm ( finger print ) 2,for dinner they have only 7pm to 8pm time And no one should roam another in the campus after 8pm Sudden inspections and no cake cutting. Common for both are: No one should leave hostel without parent consent and gate pass After 6 no one should go outside campus No one should stay inside the hostel during college hours without permission of mentor hod and warden. Night life boys can sneak around but no girls should roam even with in campus after 8pm
