Remarks :

My college is good and upto the mark, the freedom provided in college is too good and is rare to get the same quality of education and freedom together anywhere else.Placements are also too good and you get placed in best companies of the world including PSUs

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of my college is good, it matches the standard of cew of the best IITs in the country. They recently introduced few new changes in curriculum and introduced minors degree program. In each semester there are 4 exams i.e Quiz1, midsem exam, Quiz 2, endsem exam. Quizzes are of 10 to 15 marks each and Midsem of 25 to 30 and endsem exam is of 50 marks

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities is NITK are too good,The CDC department (Career development center) plays a very important role in providing johs to the students. Almost every student in Btech program gets a job. Yes,my college provides internship ti the prefinal year students, almost every big company visits college. For internship stipend varies according to company and branch you are in. It varies from 10000 per month to 1lakh per month.

College Events :

Alot of events are celebrated in my college. There are 2 major fests of NITK,the cultural fest is named Incident and technical fest is Engineer.Incident involves alot of cultural competition like dance, singing etc.There are proshows every night on both of the fests. Then there are few more events celebrated in my college like Bharat Darshan( state wise culture is presented ), Panache(inter branch dance competition), Crescendo (college fest), Spandan(dance competition).

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of NITK is you to pay the Institute and hostel fees in the beginning of the semester itself. Fees is decided according to the caste and also according to annual income. For a student from general category institute fee is around 75000 per semester and mess fee is 24000 per semester

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are 2 banks in college both provide loans to students. Also if a person has annual income of less than 6lakh , he is supposed to pay only 33% of the Institute fees , there are other scholarships also Available

Campus Life :

For sports NITK has 1 sports complex with many tabletennis courts and 4 badminton courts.It also has 4 lawn tennis court, swimming pool, 2 baslet ball court, 2 handball court. 1 new sports complex with all latest facilities was inaugurated last month.There is a Health Care centre in campus which provides free treatment and medicines for all the student, HCC has all facilities .WiFi is campus is too good, you can be connected to it on roads as well and speed is decent.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels of NITK are good enough, hostels are divided according to the year you study in.For 1st year you get a room which has to be shared with 2 other students, in 2nd year you get a room which has tonhe shares with 1 other student and in 3rd year and final year year you get a single occupancy room. Laundry services are available. Various games like table tennis,carrom are there in hostels for students.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of NITK is too good.Alumni organize various events in college and also fund for other events. They provide support for startups. A major event of alumni in college is the marathon.

Faculty :

The faculty in my college is good and upto the mark. Almost every professor has 1 Doctorate degree. Few are strict and few are friendly with students, overall they are good.Professors are not strict and are available for students after classes also for doubts.

placements during the current scenario are hard and they offer less perks highest goes to around for 20 lakhs for 2-3 students all others placed are around 3-7 lakhs mark students placed are around 50 percent there are companies like adobe and Capgemini comming to campus

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to get placements from their 6th to 7th semester as whatever basic is needed by them to a company is embedded into them. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and many other companies visit our college and make many offers. The highest package in my course was 47 L.P.A previous year and average is 7 to 8 L.P.A. Almost all students get placed in our branch almost every year. I just wanna do a start-up after completion of my course and getting my degree.
