Remarks :

RJ college is one of the best college as it helps tu focus on acedemics, but there is no infrastructure like playground, proper canteens so we cannot enjoy our college life after lectures, we cannot stay in college with friends sitting, relaxing, chit chatting.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As RJ college is an autonomous it has its own syllabus and exam pattern.Syllabus is very much similar to mumbai university and it's easy to learn and understand. The exam structure in RJ college has 1 unit exam of 25 marks for each subject and semester exam of 75 marks for each subject.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell of the college is very active they have their online portals named CALYXPOD for resume building, experience sharing by alumini who got placed, messages and notification about placement and many more. The top MNC like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini are driving their placements in RJ college, Even I got placed in infosys. RJ college doesn't offer any internship.

College Events :

There are lot of events happening in the college at different level like college level and department level. Every department has their own fests which they celebrate and other department and colleges are invited to enjoy the fest. The fest of IT department is called SYMPOSIUM.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure is feasible and RJ college offers to pay fees in installments which makes paying fees more feasible. The fees which arr not used are again get refunded to the students like lab fees or journal fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, There is no scholarship offered by college, but If you perform well in exams then college reward money to that student. If the student is facing any problem by which his/her family is unable to pay the fees then college trust helps them.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are there in RJ college, they have NCC, cultural committees, and many more. Labs are well organized and have every equipment required for practical. RJ college has biggest chemistry lab in mumbai. RJ college does not have ground, so we can say there is not much scope for sports.

Alumni/Alumna :

RJ college has their alumni in touch even who had left 10 years back, College invited them for the guidance of students and they guide the students about what to do after college and how to manage studies and many more things. For my batch I remember they had organised such sessions more than 15 times which helped me a lot.

Faculty :

The faculty in RJ college are one of the best faculty, they are very supportive and helpful. They almost cover each and every topic of the syllabus and help you in clearing your doubts even after the lecture.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly, I never chose bsc as a earning source or for jobs. I'm very interested in learning biology, especially microbiology. Our professors gives us practical knowledge along with theory. Our botony teacher Mr. Kanade sir is very supportive in businesses related to botony. Such as spirulina cultivation. He showed us an interview of a 23 yr old man who is earning in lacs through spirulina cultivation.

The college has a placement cell which works hard to ensure deserving students get a chance for working at a good firm. The cell has a WhatsApp group of interested students and regular updates of internships and job offers are posted on the group which is accessible to everyone. Best college to learn and enjoy college life .

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester, all the students are eligible for the placement and Internships provided by the College. Various well known companies comes for the placement cell and picks the students who has not only scored well in his/her exams but also how much interactive they were during interview and how much basic and verious knowledges they have apart from there course. Highest package was 4-5 lakh per annum and average 2.5-3 lakh per annum. The selection of candidates in the placement cell are for all the various job profiles for ex. Software Engineer , ui/ux , Cyber security , web developer / designer and etc etc. In a batch of class around 60-70% students were placed in placement and Internships. I had planned to get the degree in cs and to learn ui ux design and to apply for the intership for 2-3 companies so after that I can apply for the big and famous companies like FAANG.
