Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum is really great and the standard of education is really great compared to other colleges as they as company based education which is required in this upcoming world. of the running tech.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 298000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are very limited, a person has to be knowledgable to get the intership and have to be dooing too many projects in his life for him to get a internship , so this is a headache ovearall talk.

Placement Experience :

Placements are okiish and baiased, around 1000 companeis come to our college but the amount of students in out also matters in the same way, most of them get placed and others just opt for higher studies, but really big compnaies come

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am paying 298000 per year with Category II as per the college needs Other students have approx 193000 to 495000 as their fees depends on the examination they write before joining this college there is no extra fees other than the tuition fees expect the depoist in first year

Campus Life :

Overall it is a okay okay expericnce in this college, u'll meet a lot of new friends, make alot of contact and have a lot of fun with a lot of crying and sad stories too., Clubs are really active and events happen every other day

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is really good they have a good amount of places inside hostel to eat and all but the rules for going in and coming out is really a headache, and hostellers can't leave the campus to go anywhere else

Hostel Fee : INR 198000 per year

Admission :

The college has a good rannking and brand name from before, hence i choose this college, please choose the Core cse branch of this college, other cse branches are not upto mark like the core , and don't belive other.

Faculty :

Faculty are usually tamil oriented, and the exam is a little too difficult compared to other campus of VIT , this is really sad to watch us being in chennai and not getting such goood college life like the other campus

Night Life :

Night life is not allowed, hostel people have to go inside within 9pm and girls it si 8pm, so i don't recomemend the night life to be very great compared to all the IIT coleges you have seen around in the india

Review of placement

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.
