Remarks :
No such negative remarks rather that strict in academic regulations and in terms of discipline. Opposite gender students can interact with each other but no such bad touch or any other informal activities are entertained in campus, if noticed he/she will be thrown out from university.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are 4 sets need to be fulfilled to complete the course, they are Program core, University Core, Program elective , University elective. Only when the required credits to be completed, the elegibilty in completing course will be generated.
Internships Opportunities :
Only final year(Final semester) students are required to do an internship for completing their course,without completing intern he/she can't get their degree. I've did my major project in vellore co-operative sugar mill Ltd, though it's a paid internship. College provided certificate for eligibling the internship.
Placement Experience :
More than 85 percent of the student who registered for placements are getting placed in reputed companies like HCL,Infosis,HP,Tech solutions etc The main reason for choosing this college is placements. VIT has PAT (placements academic training) to train the students and getting in touch with companies
College Events :
Reviera,Gra'vitas Reviera falls in the mid of Feb, it's a three to five day programme were actress are invited to entertain the students from getting out of stress sometime, Gra'vitas falls in Oct month
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Neither feasible nor expensive, only the required fee which included in provisional admission letter has to be paid.The fee amount to be paid in terms of DD (Demand Draft) no cash,credit,cheque is accepted.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
100 percent eligibility to get bank loans, college helps students in proving the letter stating that he/she can avail the educational loans for the selected course In scholarship, only the students who having above 85 percent of attendance, 8 to 9 pointers in academic marks with decent background of academic history with no arrears can apply for scholarship
Campus Life :
College provided air conditioned labs with trained staffs for maintaining the labs and other stuffs. Every course has an individual labs with specific faculty attached with Intranet facility to browsing systems
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is well maintained and the cleanliness is well deserved. Such a pleasant stay like to be in home, hostel Food is awesome when compared to other college hostels. Hostel Attendence is fully based on students biometric system for students security.
Alumni/Alumna :
Even I'm an alumini of VIT University (Vellore Campus) I did my U.G in vellore campus. They are in contact with every passed out students profile. They keep functions/ get togeather parties etc ,once in a year.
Exam Structure :
There is no particular fee structure for exam,lab etc. All included in tuition fee. Hostel fee differs and it's purely based on FCFS (first come first serve) and refundable deposit needed to be paid and it will be refunded after completing required credits.
Admission :
Submitting application online by filling required details and paying online fee INR 1450, Necessary document copies along with the submitted application Xerox need to be submitted or couriered to the Admission office, VIT. They mail us the exam date, hall ticket etc, we are required to write the exam and personal interview. The results will be declared and mail will be generated about the selected candidates for the course
Faculty :
The faculties are more friendly when compared to other colleges. Out of my experience. Also they give freedom in creativity thinking of the course, helps in clearing doubts in any topics in their course.
