- the college campus is very good and very large everything is availiable inside the campus and you dont have to go out to buy anything , and its very clean and very pretty
- the diversity is great you will be able to meet different people of different country and experience their culture.
Dislikes
- The competition is huge due to admission being easy their are many people in the university and you will have a tough fight in the placements.
- the attendence is necessory and you will have to maintain 75 percent and if you dont you will be debarred from the exams
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum gets updated every year according to the trends. for example we had a subject called artificial intelligence but later by seeing the rise of chatgpt and other chat bots the curriculum shifted and the subject was changed to Generative artificial intelligence which i think is very good decision. Which deals with the real world problems. One thing that i would say is that it should be that per subject attendence should not be necessory .
Internships Opportunities :
well some copanies that are offering internship are tcs , cognizant etc honestly speaking i dont know the stipend you will get many projects every semester with repect to your subjects which you can add into your cv
Placement Experience :
You can participate in placements from your fifth semester in which you can get internship. the few companies that came are tcs , cognizant ,google , amazon, etc. The highest package that someone got this year as far as i knoow is 30 lpa and the average package is from 5-8 lpa . almost 85 percent people get placements every year as their are always bad ones in a basket of good mangoes. i plan on getting placed doing job nad gaining expirience and then doing my mba from US.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every semester you have to pay 128000 rupees and 4000 exam fee every semester. Before admission you can either give the lpu entrace exam for scholarship or apply for the scholarship via jee mains results or board results,but ill suggest go for the entracnce exam as it is easy and you can get more scholarship. The thing is the more early you apply for admission and give the entrance exam the more scholarship you will get for example you get same marks both times but the one that applied earlier like 1-2 months earlier will get more scholarship.
Campus Life :
Every year you have a big cultural event and last year we had One India event and this year we had one World . they are held in april and may months every year . Their is a very big library in our college and you can get any book you want and issue it from there for a week and then you have to reissue it. Their is a projector in every classroom and the seats are well coushioned and you also have ac in every room which is very good. their is two huge grounds and one small football ground where you can play . two courts for basketball and three volleyball courts all this for outside one and one big auditorium which has one olympic sized swimming pool one basketball court and 12 badminton courts and 9 squash courts.
Hostel Facilities :
i have opted for ac room and with 4 other roomates and you can choose any thing like one person room or no ac in which you get a coole which is also fine , an attach bathroom is provided in every room . I dont have mess so i cannot talk about the mess food . Every year the hostel selection process open in which you can select the hostel of your choice and the room you want with your friends . the room is not that expensive and you can afford the hostel easily.
Admission :
The college had a very good infrastructure and the placements were very good which were the primary thing for me in choosing this college. about another college that i had in mind was vit vellore but for that college the admission criteria was very confusing as the seat allotmant criteria was a greedy one and i did not feel like it will provide me quality education and would be a honey trap. About the admission process ypu have to fill the admission form and then you can give the entrance exam which will help you getting the scholarship but you can skip the exam if you want and get admission by boards result or jee mains result .
Faculty :
The faculty members are great they will teach you everything and if you have any doubts they will clear your doubts in their free time you just havee to go to their cabin . Yes their are some faculty that are not great but you can complain to the hod and he will deal with the problem. Every year wo exams are conducted the mid sems and the ende sems and in between them class tests will be conducted every week and their weightage will be added in your final report . Talking about the curriculum it gets updated every year according the current norms so it never gets old .
Night Life :
there are two gyms one college gym that is closed around 9 and one private gym which is open till 10:30 . Library is oped till 12 at midnight and all the cafes is open till 11 and some canteens that are near hostel are allowed to be opened overnight. you can go out of the college but you have to apply for leave and then go out ,locality is ok i would say not that great but fine for boys and yeah not very good for girls at night.
