Course Curriculum Overview :

I want to prepare for UPSC then I choose B.A. because their subjects helps in me in my mains examination and this course was not too much time time taking. With this course I alsoo preparing for my goal.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 7700 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities is also available for students. It is totally depends on your interest. Students did internship in ASI, travel and tourism industry, hotel management. University also provide them facilities.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is available in campus. After 2nd year students are eligible for campus placement and many giant companies came for take interview. Average package of students in 3.5 lakh. Maybe 60% of overall students got package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I paid 7700 per year for B.A. university also provide zero fees system for poor students who is meritorious. and scholarship for all students. Fees is lesser than another university of Lucknow because it is A++ graded.

Campus Life :

In my hostel festivals are organised by hostel committee which lead by students. Many festivals like shivratri, diwali, Holi and many more celebrated. Extra curricular activities are also organised by university like kavita sammelan, science exhibition, speech compitition, essay writing etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Fan, almirah, RO water, bed also gave by hostel facial. Meal quality was so good . It was just like homemade food. If you want hostel you should apply online on university's website. 17 hostels if available for students in university. 9 for boys and 8 for girls.

Hostel Fee : INR 37000 per year

Admission :

I choose lucknow university over allahabad university because of its reputation. Lucknow University is much better that allahabad university in study environment, student politics and faculty. Admission is based on entrance exam.

Faculty :

In my department faculty to students ratio is approximately 1:20. HOD's are very humble. Students met with them when they want. Every time a faculty present in office for students confusion. Staff is also good and cooperative.

Night Life :

When I discussed about gym and Libraries in university, I challenged that no other universities had that features. 3 to 4 gyms and 6 Library and 50000 books in that. 17 hostels which timing 6 to 10 for boys and 6 to 7 for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.
