Course Curriculum Overview :

I have carze for Electronics since ever from childhood so when i grew up i got this College and Course in B.E EXTC, I Chose EXTC beacuse it is on safer side newer Telecom and Most college EXTC are allowed for both Hardware as well as Software Jobs.Curriculum is good like it covers all the ELectronics from basic level to advance level it has many real world application subjects like the Mini and Major Projects where we apply knowledge to the Real World Problems.Few subjects/Topics must be removed like EDC which are a burden on students and Teaching must be more of practical based. Frequency of exams are very frustating at some time like there is a UT-1 in 2nd week of your Sem and UT-2 in 5-6th Week after which follow along with Practical - Orals - Viva and Submissiond and finally Endsems .

Internships Opportunities :

In our college companies visit for internship opportunities college ahs tie up with many govermenrts oragnizations and Private players too. recent internship opportunities Indian Railways Konkan Division : 10000/- Per Month and few software companies Internsip ranges from 5000/-Month to 15000/- monthly

Placement Experience :

From 6th Semester students are Eligible for Internships and from 7th Semesters Eligible for Placements.Around 52 Companies visited in College mostly TCS, Wipro, JPMC, Oraclae and around 300 Offers were made. Highest was from J P Morgan Chase and Co for 12 LPA for a Student from IT and EXTC and lowest was for 1.2 LPA For a Student from Instrumentation Dept overlall average was 6-7 LPA.Around 70 -75% Students opt for placement and rest go for further studies while all that 70-75% Student gets a Job from Campus. After degree I'm Planning to join my Mom's job through referall in Oracle India Ltd.

Campus Life :

so there is a Cultural fest Zodiac which is Held in Febrauray and a tech fest held in December. Library mostly all books are available with old to old genration to newest generation. All clasrooms are equipped with a PC and a Projector and Mic Array Systems. Sports are Givem immence importance majorly Football/Cricket/n Basketball are played. Many Student run clubs are there like team racing, team areo, MESA, ASME , ABIT, IETE, IEEE and many more

Admission :

So i was getting B.Tech Chemical Engineering in NIT Srinagar but just beacuse of my boards marks i was not able to take admission in NIT plus my family said in kashmir instability and the I was getting a seat in SPIT Mumbai but just missed it by 0.43%tile so then I take admission in Rajiv Gandhi Institute fo Technology beacuse it is close to my Home like 10 - 15 minutes on Bike so If i have any Emergency I have assuarance I Will be at my House within 15 Minutes this is main concern as my friends took admission in COlleges of Vashi Panvel Vasai Virar Regretting it.For Admission you need Aggr 50% in boards P C M/Electronics in my case and you can get admission via MHT-CET band Yeas through JEE too but All India Quota is very less seats.Overall admission exprience was smooth and I Got my admission in around 3rd Round of MHT-CET

Faculty :

Faculty to Student ratio is 1:30, some faculties are good treats us very well but some faculty memebers are rude and may insult you often. Ankita Yadav of EXTC and Keshav Choughule both are good faculties in extc they are young so they are chill and also gives concessions for assignment and journal subbmissions. K.G.Savarkar he is worst he eats Gutka/Vimal all the time even during lectures so we dont understand what he is teaching.Exams are conducted with best efficiency all staff are alert. As it is a Non-Autonomous College exam paper are set by University so More or Less exams are bit-tough.In class of 60 around 10 Students are All Clear n 50 Student gets KT In one or more than one subject and 10-15 are one who get drop due to more than 5 KT's, Course curriculum is relevant as far its about my branch Electronics

Night Life :

We have gym in college which is Around from 7 AM to 4:15 PM same for college library and about cafe's we have 3 cafes nearby Starbucks, Blue Tokai and Third Wave Coffee. There are no hostels availables students live in PG's where they rent a Flat it cost thrm aroung 7-8K a Month.Famous hangout spots outside college are Cafes Starbucks, Thirdwave, Blue Tokai and then a Hotel Banana Leaf and a Eatery Kha and McDonalds. Locality is Almost safe at night as there is Police patroling every 15 Minutes.

Students become eligible for placement from 7th sem but the training and stuff starts from 5th sem onwards. I don't really know much about the placements since I'm not planning on doing job after graduation and probably gonna do masters in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.

Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle, etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad
